Nicely tucked away under the Quest Hotel/Serviced Apartments building some might remember as "The Peninsula Center" this modern style diner brings American charm to down town Frankston. We'd heard about this place, the all you can eat rib nights, and the quirky cocktails served in jars and milk bottles and had to give it a go. We arrived for a late dinner and were greeted by friendly staff who promptly found us a table. We opted for Steak, Ribs and Onion Rings to be washed down with a Coors beer. A main Steak and Ribs were enough for two people and the ribs were tender and smothered in a stick barbecue sauce. Unfortunately our steak came out slightly underdone to my liking, and on return to the kitchen it came back slightly overdone although still very much edible. It was after our meal that we were advised that the regular chef had injured himself - and the owner had stepped up in his place. They proceeded kindly offered us another serve of ribs on the house, good old fashioned customer service that seems to be hard to find these days. You can't go there without having a crack at the BFS - Big Freakin Sundae!

Dined for lunch today with work colleagues. Large group of 18 pax. We all ordered the $15 lunch special - selected meal + a drink for $15 - great value! I had the thai beef salad & it was tasty. All 18 meals came out relatively together which was great. Service friendly. Recommend. Hi Shweta, Thankyou for your fantastic review, we are glad you enjoyed your lunch with us and hope to see you again soon.

Enjoyed beef sliders and chicken wings.my wifeâs pizza was yummy but found the Margherita pizza to be flavourless (maybe add some oregano or basil).. loved the decor and found service to be excellent

The best thing about Humdinger & Dude Food is that as soon as you have that comforting first bite in relaxed surroundings you do really learn to enjoy dining out again. Far away from asking for the bill delivered inside a black leather folder with a mint

James Squire's The Cheeky Squire brings its cheeky rogue attitude to Frankston. The perfect spot for a cheeky after-work drink or meal.
A few of weâre looking for a place to go and one said the cheaky squires in Frankston. The grazing menu is fantastic we took advantage of their offer for 9 starter dishes for $95. There was so much really great food. The staff were very friendly and even made suggestions of different beers to compliment the food selections made. The Cheaky Squires turns into a night club feel on Saturday night which keeps us there till closing time. Thanks for a great experience.
