It's a beautiful (English) pub with excellent service and amazing food. The price though, is a bit high. All the waiters are English. Therefore we wouldn't recommend it to someone who is looking for a charming French place. But if not, we strongly recommend this place. This eatery was taken over by new management last season, and the change is really welcome. They are young, enthususiastic and fun.La Gamelle is situated at Samoens 1600, just by the top of the Vercland egg lift. Most of the seating is outside so it is somewhat affected by the weather. The seating inside is very limited. They offer the best value for money snacks at the resort and their vin chaud is the best we have ever had!!

We quickly stopped for salads and croquet monsieur before skiing service was a fast and my Cesar salad was huge and very tasty the children in the group loved the chicken nuggets and chips

This place is friendly and efficient: order at the til downstairs, carry your beers upstairs and the food arrives very soon thereafter. Great selection of burgers and toppings: our favourite was the mexicana. Very good, eapecially after a nogjt on the beer. They were extremely welcoming. Thanks guys!!

We went here for my partnerâs 50th, and she is vegan. I was amazed at the care and attention given to us to make us feel welcome. This place was not only able to make an amazing food for the vegan, but all other meals were top notch! When asking the waitress about local wines she fetched the owner and he recommended the perfect bottle for the meal. Loved it! But the topper of the whole evening is that we forgot a phone on the table and the waitress ran down the road to return it to us. That is what I call FULL SERVICE!!! Amazing!!!

Serveur pas aimable et on a l'impression d'être coupable de demander ce qu'il y a sur leur carte mais qu'ils n'ont pas. Les smoothies sont surtout des glaçons.

We had lunch here most days during our skiing break, as well as hot chocolates after skiing. It is ideally located next to the gondola and opposite the big air bag jump which our kids absolutely loved and was free. The service was usually fantastic, the staff fly around so fast. Fish and chips, burgers, croque Monsieur and salads all went down very well and the coffee was excellent.

We sat outside under the canopy ...which we appreciated as it was snowing! We ordered the plate d'jour which was very good . Enough to share! The omelette too was delicious. A perfect place to meet up with everyone for lunch ...even the babies in their pushchairs!
