Seas the day at The Working Boat, a proper pub on the water-front where you can sink a few on Cornish time whilst admiring the view across Falmouth harbour. With fifteen beers and ciders on tap including our own Working Boat brew, moor up and cruise in fo
We had a large area reserved for our friends and family the evening before our wedding for drinks and food. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the service was supremely professional. All the food ordered was very tasty and well presented. On the Sunday we had lunch here which was also first class, well cooked, served and presented. We shall be returning soon.Would highly recommend to everyone.Dear Brian T,Thanks so much for the glowing review. On behalf of all of us at The Working Boat, a massive congratulations on your recent wedding, and we are all so glad you and your party enjoyed everything at your pre-wedding dinner. It is great to hear you also returned for Sunday lunch and enjoyed this too. We look forward to seeing you again soon for more tasty pub grub and harbour views.Kind Regards,Ryan Martt,Pub Manager

In Falmouth to visit the Maritime Museum and decided to have lunch here. Very pleased we did! We both had roast beef (sadly for my husband lamb wasn't available) and it was delicious, served pink just how we like it. Accompanied with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and parsnips, mashed carrots and swede plus a bowl of cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage in cheese sauce. Highly recommended and remember to book as they were very busy. Looking forward to returning!Hi there and thank you for your kind review. We're all delighted to see that you enjoyed your visit to the Kings and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. We do apologise that we were unable to offer our full regular choice of meats due to a supply issue but this has now been rectified so your husband will be able to enjoy a lamb roast on your next visit! We look forward to seeing you both again very soon! The Kings Crew

The Heron Inn is a beautiful waterside pub, with stunning views over the river Fal. We are open all day, every day from 10am, serving freshly prepared homemade meals, ranging from a light lunch to hearty meals, and an excellent range of daily specials. Bo
I met up with son and hos partner on sunday the 13/19/19 nad decided to eat at the Heron. a lovely location but the food was not up to much, my son ordered a steak with a sauce his steak was ok but the sauce tasted nothing like it should it was tasteless cheesy flavor awful, he asked for a replacement it came back the same, my sons partners meal was fine, but my own meal a steak. I ordered med/rare which it was but it was so tough I couldn't even cut the steak with the so called steak knife, i paid nearly £80 very poor value.the plate was sparce with a mushroom with a few cherry toms some chips and the steak. The whole meal ,lacking in vision and quality, I drove all the way from Liskeard I wish I had used a local resturaunt..Thank you for your well written review. I have spoken to my team who served you on the night, who went to at length to make sure your party were happy. Your description of our steak is incorrect as you missed out the battered onion rings and lambs leaf lettuce that was served with your steak? Our meat is sourced locally and if any issues, we will always try to rectify these as soon as we are made aware. You forgot to mention that your meal was actually refunded and yet you still feel compelled to leave a poor review??As for the vision and quality of our steak, we are a refined restaurant that strives on quality for all our customers. Perhaps The Heron Inn is not to your liking.

Oh my god, the best place ever! Everything damned near perfect. Food, ambience and staff really lovely and a really good stout on (had two of those naughty buggers!)I will go back to Falmouth just to go there, I was really missing nutritional well thought out meals. Had the lamb croquette as a starter and the pork and black pudding Wellington plus the apple crumble. Bloody marvellous!!

This is a lovely old pub restaurant, serving delicious food. We have eaten there twice & each time has been a wonderful experience. The food is fresh & the vegetables in season. Delicious. We will certainly be going again.
Been here a few times before, lovely local pub situated in Perranwell, very friendly staff, great atmosphere, good selection on the menu plus specials board. Food locally sauced, fantastic tasting and beautifully cooked, good size portions, very good service, nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit.

Quaint traditional Cornish pub with a great food offering inside and outside in our stunning terrace garden. Friendly helpful service. Great selection of wines by the glass and real ales on hand pumps and craft beer. Children and pets are welcome. Cycle H
This is a clean, cosy and friendly pub in a spectacular location. We were served immediately at the bar even though the place was busy and quite full with people enjoying their Sunday roasts. The bar staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We ordered food and as there were no tables available we were directed to the outside seating area which has quite a few tables but doesn't offer any cover if the weather takes a turn for the worst. On the day of our visit it was dry and warm so this didn't affect us. The food was plentiful and great value for money. I have no hesitation to recommend this pub very highly.Dear hexadec,Thank you for taking the time to review the Old Quay Inn. We are delighted with your review. We take such pride in this beautiful traditional pub and to hear that we are doing well is motivating and reassuring.Thank you again and all best wishes, Hannah

A pretty, thatched traditional pub and restaurant, the Punchbowl and Ladle has masses of character both inside and out. Parts of the building date back to the 15th century and during the 17th century it was a hostelry for travellers and mariners crossing
Change in the weather caused us to come in for a meal. Young staff provided great service and we were soon sat down having a drink. Extensive menu was appealing and we soon had ham egg and chips and moules mariniere. Both were absolutely faultless. Excellent ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. Followed up with ice cream and forgot about the weather.

Stunning waterside pub with pontoon seating 150 people stretching out into the creek. Food is served every day starting with morning coffee and cake from 10.30am, our full menu from noon until 21.30 And daily specials served at lunchtime and in the evenin
Quality of the food was disappointing and massively overpriced.Fish pie was dry and the banana parfait was terrible and £7!! Charging London prices for poor quality food is unacceptable.Otherwise itâs a lovely pub with great views.Dear MaxiJacovella23Thank you for taking the time to review us although your review does seem to duplicate the 2* review immediately before yours - please be assured we did understand your disappointment when we read that review. We are sorry that our very popular fish pie and the banana parfait was not to your liking but we would rather have been told this while you were with us so that we could try and do something to put it right while you were with us - not an option when you choose the option of using an anonymous review site to air your complaint. We are also disappointed with the lack of balance in your review - we agree that The Pandora Inn is a lovely pub and does have great views, we also have a fantastic team as mentioned in almost every review and they would have preferred to have helped you - but sadly none of this is reflected at all in your overall review score of 1*.We are sorry that the lovely and multi-award winning Pandora Inn is not for you but thank you for trying us.With regardsThe Pandora Inn team

The Cutty Sark has an informal pub style dining area on the upper level as well as more formal restaurant on the ground floor that is also available for private party hire.
I booked a table by phone and was surprised to find the Pub restaurant almost empty. We were worried whether this was because the food was not up to much but were in for a surprise. The roast lamb with vegetables we ordered was lovely and rich, very tasty.Quite a different experience from other Sunday roasts in town recently, which haven't been up to scratch one way or another, from lukewarm or uncrispy roast potatoes or swimming in gravy. We found out later that the Pub had only just restarted offering Sunday lunches.Definitely worth another visit or two.
