Iâm a local and come here often with my daughter in the summer to make use of the garden and have a drink or 2.I went on a quiet lunchtime with my partner, ordered the bruschetta and lasagne. The bruschetta was basically dry bread with a diced mushroom on it. The lasagne was burned around the sides and top but cold in the middle... reheated so quite dangerous that it was not piping hot. The garlic bread it came with was stale. Completely inedible food, and presentation was appalling. The chef clearly doesnât care about his/her job.Shame, as the good here used to be nice, the staff are great and it has a nice atmosphere. The food entirely letâs it down.HIThank you for taking the time to leave your review, we really appreciate the feedback. We have just launched our new summer menu since your visit and hope that you would come back to give us a try

My wife and I called for an early evening meal and we couldnât have been more impressed. Everything from the friendly welcome , the service and the selection and quality of the food were excellent. One small tip : try & avoid table next to the rear door which gets a lot of use. We wouldnât hesitate to recommend the Fox & Hounds and will certainly be returning very soon. Give it a try

At the Crown and Cushion we are proud to serve fantastic food and drink; classic pub food or specials to rival any restaurant, all freshly prepared. On Sundays, you can choose a Sunday Lunch in our pub, or a superb carvery in our magnificent Meade Hall. R
Took my friend here for lunch as in the area.We were greeted by a friendly lady and were seated in a booth, compared to the rest of the seating area this was actually quite dark and dreary in comparison. We both ordered a portabello mushroom & halloumi burger,I requested no bun and salad instead of chips. The tiniest side bowl of salad accompanied the dish there was no effort made to try and make it look a little bit more than the £12.95 its priced at.Even a bit more salad rather than just the couple of lettuce leaves given would of been appreciated.Shame as due to this experience we would not return but on a positive lovely friendly staff.I'm so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your veggie stack burger and have spoken to the kitchen team about how the changes you requested to this menu item should have been dealt with. I would urge you to please give us another try and hope to welcome you again soon.

Waited 1.5 hours for our food. Asked twice where it was but greeted with indifference by the manger who NEVER offered an apology. Instead accused me of swearing at the staff (is "Where is my bloody food" swearing?). Terrible service and several of my companions experienced the same.I used to like this pub but I or CU3A will NEVER go there again.Terrible service with a terrible manger. If you want food at a reasonable time do NOT go to this pub!!Firstly I vary rarely respond to customer feedback however in your case I will make an exception, you fail to mention that two groups of walkers were booked in on that day, you also failed to mention that both groups grew in numbers due to the fine weather, 34in total, this as explained to you was a mistake on our part, one that we will not repeat. The two groups arrived at the same time each ordering and paying individually, and yes it did cause reasonably long delays. We served 72 people for lunch all within two hours. You have exaggerated you wait time and failed to mention you called me a f- - - - -g b - - - - - -d at the top of you voice in the middle of the pub.you even screamed that I was the worst manager in the world. Several of your colleagues complemented us on the their food and apologised for your poor thuggish behaviour. This is all recorded on our CCTV May I also mention that the U3A walking groups have been coming for many years and you yourself say you really liked the pub, however you have never placed a positive review?

Decided to have dinner here before we met friends for a drink. It was a busy night and we hadnât booked. We sat in the bar which was full of uncleared tables and lots of unwatched children running around. The pub itself is fine, though a few chairs were there with the bottoms fallen out of them. Food was really disappointing, not as described and not very nice! It was very loud so you couldnât actually hold a conversation. We wonât be back.I am disappointed to read that on this occasion we failed to meet our usual standard. I would like to take the opportunity of talking this visit through with you and would be grateful if you would supply me with a number to contact you on in order to do this. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

The Snow Goose is a small Family run business. We took ownership of the Pub in October 2015 and after closing for a month and investing in an extensive refurbishment we opened at the beginning of November 2015. We are family friendly and encourage parents
After ordering we waited for nearly an hour for our meals, I had a 6oz burger, chips and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not nice, the chips were cold and the burger tasted cheap and thought the meal was over priced. Sorry won't be returning.

Good Beer and Simple Food with fresh ingredients... The Plough & Horses is a traditional local pub situated in the village of Cove just 4 miles from Farnborough. Whilst the pub has a lively atmosphere, the low ceilings and open fire (during the colder
I have eaten here many times with family and friends, and written reviews previously, but this review is on behalf of my mother and her two friends who went there for Sunday lunch last week.As usual Andy, the landlord, made them very welcome. Because the portion sizes are quite large my mother often has a 'kids meal' (she is 94!). However on this succession she had the Prawn Stir-fry, which is often one of the 'Specials'. My mother said it was absolutely delicious. The main thing about the Plough and Horses is that the food is cooked fresh on the premises. My mum says it's the closest to 'home cooked' food she knows!

The Swan is a contemporary gastropub set in one of Farnborough's most charming buildings.
Only fancied nachos because I had eaten earlier but these were disappointing. Guacamole and sour cream but too little cheese so I ended up with a plate full of plain tortilla chips.

We've had the opportunity to dine here twice with family while visiting the area with the recent one during the May bank holiday weekend. On both occasions we were all served with excellent plates of food from the great range of food on their menu and all of generous portion size. The staff are friendly and are helpful when querying anything on their food or drinks menu.Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.
