Great food, generous drinks, and a lively pub atmosphere you'll feel right at home in.
We had a very enjoyable lunch. They offered a nice menu- salads, appetizers, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, kids menu, little plates, drinks and desserts. We both had the Thanksgiving Turkey Wrap- choice of fries or side salad. My husband had sweet potato fries and I had the side salad. We both enjoyed our food. Everything was very fresh and tasty. In addition we had very good service.

Been coming here since 1990, and STILL overpriced and STILL warm tap beer and STILL no A/C in the place. Staff walk around like prison guards and act like they're doing you a favor by just being there. Food overpriced and so so quality. I give it 4 stars for ambience on a gorgeous day, and 1 star for EVERYTHING else, including the Sauna bathrooms. Eat b4 you go and stick to bottled beer IF you can get a cold one. Anytime after 8pm on a Friday thats impossible.

Walrus + Carpenter is a fun spot in an area of Bridgeport that has been gentrifying over the years. Walrus + Carpenter seems like it could just as easily be in Brooklyn. The drinks menu is extensive- with lots of Beer, Bourbon and Innovative Cocktails. The drinks compliment the BBQ selection well. The vibe is young and local and very laid back. The servers definitely have that âjust smoked some potâ vibe, pleasant but a little slow. The food itself is good, not great, but solidly good. The entrees are served on metal trays- which is quaint, and utilitarian. The deviled eggs are tasty, and the ribs fair. The chicken wings pretty good, chili pretty good, pulled pork pretty good... in fact everything is pretty good- but nothing is great. Its definitely a spot we keep returning to, more so because itâs a comfortable neighborhood spot than for its food.

small, cozy café with an eclectic menu. Martini was great and the Blackened Swordfish special was excellent. Service was friendly and fast.

Nice food, attentive servers. Try the cauliflower app..it's great! Rocket and Beets salad was a hit as was the lobster roll. Good selection of reasonably priced wines.

We originally went to Frank Pepes but the line to get in was ridiculous. So we came here as an alternative and very glad we did. The space is big and very cool industrial looking design. Pizza was great. We all loved it. Will def be back if in need of some pizza and in the area.

Walked in around 5 and took a seat at one of the high-tops in the bar area. Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. The waitress immediately acknowledged us with friendly smile and came over. After a few pleasantries she asked what we'd like to drink. I got a 'Blood Orange' Margarita which was delicious and my husband had a 'Mule' something or other which he also loved! No one rushed us through our drink to take our order (which I liked) and eventually we did order. We both had a cup of the seafood bisque which is so creamy and super good. For an entrée my husband had all kinds of seafood (clams, shrimp, mussels, etc) over linguine. There was so much seafood I didn't even realize there was pasta in it. I had the fish 'n chips. OMG it was so fresh and the batter was so nice and light. I didn't get that 'heavy fried feeling'. Just delicious. During the course of our meal Pat, the owner, came by to see how things were....he is such a sweetheart and genuinely interested in how your meal was. For dessert we shared a piece of apple pie with ice cream.....which was YUMMY...and a cup of coffee. I love this place....no matter what we've had here it was delicious....I HIGHLY recommend it for lunch or dinner. Just a great 'go to place'! Very relaxed atmosphere, cozy, friendly and GREAT food!

So my fellow road dogs and I were looking for a good pizza to end the year with. We are a bunch of hungry dudeâs. So we decided to hit up this fire engine place. We were not disappointed. One pizza was a large plain the other 1/2 sausage and peppers and 1/2 bacon and pepperoni. Both pies were good and above average I thought the sauce was a little light and tasted OK but the cheese had a great aftertaste to it. The crust was chewy to crisp but not burnt. Also the lava cake was a good treat for a quick bite says Santana!! Wow, what a year it was for good food...Happy New Year!!Happy Dudes.....

How does a beer joint not have flights? Waitress rattled off answers to questions so fast and garbled that we couldn't understand her. Food was good- burgers, veggie burgers, salads and pretzels. But nothing that we would go back for. We had to ask for water multiple times of multiple servers; once directly asking our server who came back with our check (that we had NOT asked for) and no water. Nope. Sorry guys, you missed the mark here.
