We usually stop at Perkins when going through Breezewood, but thought we would try something different this time. Checked out Wildwood Inn and lounge. We never went south when coming off the interstate. Place is nothing to look at but very clean, quiet, food was great and our waitress was very attentive. Nice relaxing time before heading back for the other half of our ride to Cleveland

A seafood restaurant and tavern, we specialize in crablegs, shrimp, langostinos, crabcakes, bay scallops, and a myriad of other delights from the deep.
So it was Saturday night, the first day of the Fall Foliage Festival. We walked in around 6:30 or so. The restaurant was practically empty. That should have been a clue. The first thing I noticed was the cheap laminate flooring. Ok, you don't eat the floor, let it go. The menu is not large, a lot of seafood. The seafood seemed pricey. We both ended up with the honey mustard salmon, the special. My sides were a salad and onion rings. The salad was iceberg, not well cut up with cucumbers, a few grape tomatoes, red onions and some grated mild white cheese. The onion rings were real onions, not minced pieces. They were the best thing in the meal, The salmon was okay. I wouldn't have thought to put honey mustard with salmon. My friend had sweet potato fries and broccoli with her salmon. She said that both seemed to be frozen from a bag. The staff was friendly and helpful.Thank you for taking the time to give a detailed review. Our grilled fish that day - the Atlantic salmon - was prepared "Carolina style", which is best described as a glaze of mustard, vinegar, and cayenne pepper. It appears that our server described that as "honey mustard" - so I can understand why it seemed like an odd preparation for salmon. But that is no excuse for the salmon only tasting okay - we strive for quality taste and preparation on all of our seafood, and it sounds like we failed you that night, for which I apologize.Your dining companion was correct - the broccoli and sweet potatoes were indeed frozen before preparation, which is typically normal for us outside of the growing season. As to the relative lack of people in the upstairs front dining room, that particular Saturday most people had elected to eat downstairs in the bar area. We have seating for approximately 200 people throughout the two floors of the establishment, which one or more areas seem "empty" on any given night.Again, thank you for your detailed comments, as they give us something we can work to improve upon!

We sat at the table by the fireplace. We enjoyed dinner and drinks. I had the pretzel sticks with beer cheese. They were very good but it needed a bigger serving of the beer cheese, it was delicious. My husband had the Caesar salad and fish. He enjoyed his entree. I had one of the speciality cocktails that they used the smoker to make. It was incredible. The process of watching them make the drink with the torch and how they smoked it was really interesting. The service was great. We enjoyed our dinner.

Located in a inn built in 1796, the Golden Eagle Inn serves a lovely menu by Chef Scott Mole for lunch and dinner. Enjoy drinks in our newly appointed Whiskey and Wine Bar while being warmed by the fire (and a fine whiskey)!
What a lucky find for us! Needed a late lunch spot while traveling and happened upon this little gem of a restaurant. Friendly, efficient service and delicious food. The BLT with heirloom tomatoes was outstanding. Clean and attractive first floor dining. Free two-hour on-street parking or in the rear of the hotel. Take a few moments before or after your meal to explore this attractive and interesting town. There is a nearby visitor center.

Set within the circa 1806 Stone Inn building, this casual lunch spot hosts a lively bar scene in the evenings where guests can unwind and enjoy spirited conversation over Pennsylvaniaâs local artisanal brews. With its flavorful menu and enticing beverages
Enjoyed a delicious casual dinner with fine waiter service. We sat in huge leather chairs and a blanket was provided by our waiter when we suggested the air conditioning was too cold. Really nice to have such an accommodation which made our meal totally pleasant.
