A global mix of street eats & comfort foods shares the menu at this industrial-chic selection.
We were catching the Coast Starlight from Emeryville Station and had a few hours to kill. There really weren't very many eateries around the Amtrak station and before heading to the Subway we decided to take a stroll through the neighborhood. A mere 250m away we found The Bureau 510.This bar/eatery is a very well thought through fusion restaurant that offers a very large drinks menu. In addition to Happy Hour drink, they offer a Happy Hour menu every day from 4:30pm - 6:30pm, where most of the popular dishes are only $6!We tried an array of dishes and most were finger food/ smaller plates/ tapas style:-Spicy Chinese marinade wings (smooth & smoky sauce with a kick)-Battered cod (crunchy crust and super fresh fish)-Parmesan Fries (seasoned, herby, cheesy thin fries)-Korean pork tacos (spicy pork, avocado, fresh salsa and soft tortilla)-Onion rings (fresh, deep fried, crispy & juicy)-Asian chicken salad (fresh, nutty, sweet)The portions are great for sharing and I would recommend ordering a few dishes so that you create a tapas style meal! For dessert we ordered the hazelnut tartuffo and the berry crumble à la mode. Both dishes were fantastic. Our bill only came to around $60! If we are ever in the Bay Area again, we will come back!!

We visited this eatery before the Dobs-Spurs NBA playoff. Old style place. Classic floor, side-booths, reminds one of traditional, historic restaurants. Walls are adorned with antique black/white photos depicting local visual history. Monday, (all day) oysters for $1,00 each. Nice touch!, Before the 530pm tip-off, our 230PM seating allowed us only selections from the off-time bar menu. Corned-beef sliders were fresh, not salty and served on fresh rolls. Called drinks were $10.00, 30% less expensive than San Francisco restaurants. French fries, $7.00 crispy and delicious.Very good value and prices were reasonable. Service was respectful and instant. Worth a return.

Honor's kitchen is an oasis in your town otherwise deserted by good watering holes. Excellent happy hour atmosphere and good drinks. Food options are OK but not mind-boggling. The music can be a bit loud at times but you can always ask them to turn it down if you're in a business discussion.

We are a fast casual eatery with counter service and a full bar, serving exceptional sustainable seafood boils, create-your-own poke bar and one-of-a-kind oyster bar. Order and pay at the counter, grab a table and dig in! History: alaMar is a chef-driven
The Afro-Latino seafood restaurant is the love child of Executive Chef Nelson German. His menu features signature dishes such as the peel ânâ eat shrimp drowned in romesco sauce and the Braised Angus Oxtail derived from his motherâs recipe. The ever changing menu, reflecting locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients, is made to with love to share with friends and family on any given night. This is a must try in Uptown Oakland. Chef just might make you something special off the menu.

Brew Pub with oven fired pizza and a variety of other food
Late lunch as a family on a Saturday. Nice feel to the place especially outside. Good range of beers for an American restaurant/bar. Service is pretty good but food itself only very average. The Caesar Salad and the wedges were poor but the pizzas were good. So, OK just overall.

We loved this place but the menu was disappointing. Then we found out that they'd had a kitchen fire so weren't at full menu. But the beer was great and the vibe was very "happening" with the best that Oakland can offer....young, old, families, pets, ethnic, racial, and gender diversity. Wonderful!
