I was looking for a late Thursday spot for a quick bite. A search found Harlem Tavern. It was pretty empty, but the kitchen was to close about 30 minutes after I arrived, so....I had three delicious chicken tacos. I mean really good. Large screen tvâs without sound and a great funky music selection made for a fun time. Would be way more fun when itâs (more) crowded. Iâll be back!

This is such a cool place. Love the setup, the vinyl records on the ceiling and walls and the intimacy and closeness of the stage to the tables. Good menu choices in terms of bar food. Wine was limited to house red and house white. There was a selection of beers and cocktails though. Great funky night. We went on a Saturday night. $20 in a taxi each way from Times Square to Harlem.

I eat here quite often because I feel that it has the best burgers within walking distance of the University. I always get the burger with the onion ring, bacon and fried egg (can't remember the name), and have it medium rare. The meat is greasy, juicy and flavourful, and you rarely get any places which can do medium rare patties anymore! It is slightly expensive, at around $11-15 per burger but I feel it is worth trying at least once.

What a great spot! Outdoor seating an really cool interior. The food was quick and tasty. Lots of drink options too! Would definitely suggest for casual dinner or drinks.
