We all know that Switzerland is expensive. But to walk out with a bill of 59.50 for one portion of cheese fondue and two cups of peppermint tea is just hilarious. Dear Urs1959Thank you very much for taking time to rate us on tripadvisor. Your correct it is hilarious and even incredible to pay almost CHF 60.00 for one cheese fondue and two peppermint teas. In fact the cheese fondue which we offer is per person à discretion CHF 32.50 and it was really amusing to see that the plate of joining guest was completely covered with bread.

What a place to get a dark brown suntan right in the middle of half pipes for snowboarders and idiothill for skiing beginners. Even when you content yourself in lying in their germantype wickerbeachseats ogling the loveliest girls and - silently boozing away - you can still pass as being sportive because you have the suntan to show for it when inspected by your unsuspecting kin. The only pain is getting up, go to the bar, get the attention of one of the flirting waiters and waitresses to get your drink before stumbling back to your wicker basket and having a fresh fry in the sun. As for food, plain local fare, quality could be called - its quite alright - if you have the patience for our order to get taken and brought back from the all convince food kitchen where cooking for the staff seems to be an occupation which affords them to be in expensive Davos and enjoy the heavy action in the nightlife.

So, you survived Jatzhytte and the last run down the slopes of Jacobshorn - keep your helmet on and stay for a few drinks at Bolgenplaza! i like to stay outside if the sun is shining, it does not get crazy crowded there. If you decide to stay and eat, do so inside and downstairs. The food is not bad, it is well prepared and tasty, but you get better food elsewhere. Here is where you go for drinks and party. At the time of writing everything has to close at 7 p.m due to some regulatory nonsense. The party however continues across the water. I was not too happy with that place however. Over crowded and bad air.
