My wife and I were seated quickly, the restaurant was only about half full. We waited, and waited. Two tables who were seated after us had their orders taken. We waited and waited. Then we got up and walked Out. I will not be going back.Hello Flyklr,I would like to extend to you a very sincere apology for your experience you had while visiting our restaurant Prairie Grille. This is very disheartening and unacceptable in our eyes and I can assure you we will be sharing your experience with our entire staff and ensuring we can all learn from this mistake. I appreciate you sharing your experience with us so that we have the opportunity to ensure this doesn't happen again. We came here for dinner before a Paul McCartney concert. Some of the music playing in the background was Beatles songs.The Mississippi blonde ale and the 2 pale ales were quite good. The Cobb salad came with a homemade Bleu Cheese dressing and extra Bleu Cheese. The BBQ plate came with 2 meats and 2 sides. All very good and relatively inexpensive.

Great local place for a beer, drink or pub food. Martinis are prepared with old school style, affordable and tasty. Guinness is always fresh and poured correctly. Huge wooden bar with tables to the side. Friendly people with no nonsense bar-keepers. Lunch or dinner if you like pub favorites. Good prices. Service is good. Younger crowd in the evenings and can get packed at times. Recommended.

This restaurant is a gem amongst other resturants. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The servers are great. Anyone who doesnt think so is not observant or considerate. The food---ah, it's a real bargain and they cook it with expertise in the kitchen. Its my restaurant!

Have enjoyed the fish tacos at the Moline location and a California burger at the uptown Davenport location. Service was attentive and efficient. Excellent diverse menu and the fish tacos are excellent and unique. Worth repeating and recommended.

Sippis has long experience with offering traditional American food in downtown Davenport. Fortunately they are high enough that the spring flooding has not affected them. Their renovations a couple of years ago opened up a rather dark interior with floor to ceiling glass windown.

While here on business, locals suggested this as a must visit for the true Davenport experience. The claim to fame is a pork tenderloin pounded flat then breaded and fried in a sandwich. We all had that with fries and a beer. This is a lot of food, so make sure you are hungry. I thought I was hungry but even skipping the bun this was served on, I only finished about 3/4 of it. Good food for sure though , and worth a visit.

We were headed to another restaraunt that turned out was shut down due to the flooding. Came here instead and was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of beer and interesting menu. And the service was excellent and friendly. The Portobello fries were great and the burger was delicious. It was also very clean, particularly since it had been closwd down for the flood earlier this year.

We stopped in to try the beer and have a snack. We had the fried soft pretzels, which were fine. Got a flight of their beers. Nothing that we liked enough to order a pint and some were really not good. Service was ok. Atmosphere was okay. Just nothing here that really impressed us like some other places in the area.
