Things to do in Cooperstown
Just stopped in here to have a few drinks. There was a limited menu. Possibly because it was HOFweekend and really busy. We grabbed a burger and fries and they were good. Seasoned home made chips delicious. Sausage sandwiches looked good. Really nice bartenders with good sense of humor. We had fun.

By day Sherman's Tavern is a laid back, easy going atmosphere perfect for either grabbing a quick drink and a bite while seeing the sights, or hanging out w/ friends and watching the games on our array of flat screens. By night we're a lively and happenin
My wife and I visited on Saturday night April 29th...ordered a couple of beers...there was a lonely popcorn machine at the end of the bar with a few kernels strewn about...we could have used a snack as they don't appear to have any available...we asked the female bartender if they could fire up the machine for us...was met with a disinterested no..why?.. I asked...no response...I guess she couldn't be bothered...we would have stayed for a few more drinks but her attitude turned us off...oh well...what's the point in having a nice old fashioned popcorn machine if you don't want to make your customers happy?

A fun & friendly place to grab a bite, a drink and catch a game. With 8 large flat screen TVs and the best sport packages, you won't miss any of the action!
We stopped here on the way back to our hotel after a day in the town of Cooperstown. We didn't want to be in the crowds anymore so this was ideal. Not too busy, good food, friendly staff.I thought it was funny that they had a bunch of baseball memorabilia, but also one giant framed basketball outfit. It seemed out of place.

Great location just steps away from the HOF. Sadly, the food was just awful. And I say that knowing full well it was going to be bar food. Best to enjoy the venue for beer, which was cold.

Cooley's is conveniently located just around the block from the Hall of Fame. It is solidly good, although the beer selection is limited. My wife's burger was overcooked, but my chicken sandwich and the chili we shared were both excellent. I'd recommend, but my wife didn't care for it. YMMV.

Open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner! Handcrafted Beers & Hearty Food. Enjoy a meal and a beer outside in our beer hop garden. Large parties are welcome to dine in our dining room. Be sure not to miss our Beer Battered Fish Fry, every Friday from 5:00p
Excellent menu of craft brews and delicious food!! Staff was very attentive and were very engaging. I suggest you sit in the front room with the bar; closer to the tappers and lots of windows and light. Located just a couple of short miles southeast of downtown Cooperstown on Hwy 28. Thank you!!
