We visited this place with another couple recently. They have a limited food menu but good variety. Their drink menu is very extensive. Prices are moderate and appropriate. Our food was ok but definitely had the obvious bar food taste. I did only get wings but others got burgers and such and said the same. Our drinks were very good though. I had a great beer and would go back just for it. Our server was nice and friendly and staff seemed to enjoy themselves. A good atmosphere.

There were four of us at dinner and for two of us, it was our first time at this restaurant. The service, by Miles, was great! Among us we ordered fish and chips, flatbread with crab, two salads- one with salmon, and the pasta/shrimp/sausage dish.Rated highest was the fish and chips. Not so great was my salad. The greens were not as fresh as I would expect and the salmon was overcooked- fried, it seemed. I had asked for the salmon to be cooked "medium". It was fresh, though, with no fishy taste. We were seated in a little room away from the larger crowd - which was so nice at first but then our little room was filled with very loud people. I know this is not the fault of the restaurant staff, but it did affect our enjoyment of the experience since we could no longer converse.I'm sorry that you didn't feel the food was consistent for your entire party. I hope that the server, Miles, and the management staff were able to make it right for you. If you ever have an issue or don't enjoy a meal don't hesitate to let them know! We want to make sure that every guest leaves happy and satisfied with the service and food quality! We will use these comments to help us to get better. Thank you for dining with us and we hope you will join us again,Kristin HlavinMarketing Communications CoordinatorCLB [email protected]

Iâve been to several BJâs but first stop in Columbus- Polaris. The menus are the same as is the beer list. Service was acceptable considered that our girl was breaking in a new server. Problems came with what was served. Our party ordered a range from ribs to burgers to tacos & fish and chips. Ribs were praised while the rest was just average. An odd combination was one order of fries too hot to eat served along with an order of sweet potato fries actually cold to the touch. To the Kitchenâs credit, they did seat a YMCA group of about 30; and had prepared a buffet table to feed the group within minutes. When our server did return, the fries were discussed. She offered a dessert which could not be finished by the four people working on it. It was delicious.

We visited during restaurant week and while a large conference was in town. Our food was pretty good. Mine arrived cold but they did remake it and they did without an issue and we received a discount for the mistake. Everyone else's food in the group was good and they seemed to really enjoy it.

Da wife and I stopped by after spending the afternoon at Comfest in the beautiful Goodale Park a short walk away. Being Comfest weekend downtown is *packed* but we were able to get two seats at the bar. Eric and his fellow bartender took very good care of us. We probably sampled all their home brews. We ended up liking the Blood Thirsty Wheat, Compassionate Dragon and especially the Scottish Ale enough to get full servings of them. Their chicken wings were very good in that they were grilled, not deep fried. Tender, large and juicy. However they should have put more sauce on them. My cup of the soup of the day (black bean) and both our salads were very good. The serving of nachos the people next to us got was Huge and looked good! Iâd try that next time. Reasonable craft beer pub prices. 3 pints (and a lot of free tastes), soup, wings and salads clocked in at $50. Then on the way out we went upstairs to the âfreeâ game room (I think you have to pay for pinball). The old games are in pretty rough shape but still fun. Da wife *killed* me on Centipede.Go! Have fun!

Staying nearby and got a tip that this was a great place to come and eat - the tip proved correct. Heather was out waitress and did a good job of keeping us tended to and happy. We ordered an hummus app and split the Mushroom Bacon Swiss burger. Everything was well prepared but the fries were a puny offering.

... for a brilliant burger. In fact, Wing Commander would say top three of our burger choices on this planet. The list includes the Luck 13 in Salt Lake City and Burger Revolution (Best rings on planet with red onions) in Belleville Ontario. The fourth be with us at Root Cellar in London Ontario. There, the truffle fries are deadly.Congratulations you are a winner Thurman Burger Bar. And a winner includes great wait help of Travis and Dona. Q-Trip: We went early, relaxed and stayed a while. No problema parking.Q-Trip: Great neighbourhood. Drive around, walk a bit.
