They were having trouble with computer system, but did not let it interfere with level of service. We all ordered something different and everything was perfect. Much better size portions than the Applebee's we go to in Georgia. A wonderful time here

A Celtic themed sports pub serving food, fun, spirits and sports! âA Cold Beer Never Looked So Good.â
Weâve never been and weâve decided that once is enough. We wanted a place for a quick bite that would allow the boys to see a baseball game. Our waitress, MeKayla, was TERRIFIC! Thatâs the only reason we rated this visit average. We asked to be seated outside as the air conditioning was too cold & the atmosphere was def not for our son. (Our bad choice of restaurants). Once the hostess moved all the beer bottles & ashtrays off of a table, we were seated, right in the middle of a cornhole tournament. The participants had parked their truck in the middle of the parking lot and had very loud music. MeKayla was extremely accommodating when we asked to go in and found a perfect table in front of all 3 games. The menu was only average and we struggled to find food we enjoy. Though, our son enjoyed the Pub Fried Egg Burger. My belief is that the hostess was trying to be accommodating for our initial request of seating but a warning of the tournament would have been nice. Also, with the owner sitting in the corner, âobservingâ, I believe he could have asked the tournament guests to respect the other restaurant patrons.Thank you to MeKayla, our one bright spot, for making a bad situation, better!
Where to eat Seafood food in Colonial Heights: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We checked out this place for the first time since it was Trio. They added two pool tables and new chairs throughout the place along with new paint and a few other touches. The menu changed so we decided on ordering a few different item so we could try them out. We had the boneless wings which were as good as the ones Trio served. We got them with their "slapshot sauce" which is garlic butter, BBQ and hot buffalo sauce....excellent! We also had a kids order of their incredible mac & cheese which they serve about 5 different ways on the adult menu. It was by far the best mac & cheese we ever had. And last was the sliders. They were OK but nothing special, just mini burgers.

Have been given a gift card,  we decided to try them out and have dinner.  It was a Tuesday evening around 6:45 and the wait was approximately 35 minutes.  Our waitress greeted us and took our drink order as we looked over the menu. We each got the 6oz sirloin, one with an upgraded side of mac and cheese, the other with a loaded baked potato and asparagus (this was an upgraded item as well) and  grilled shrimp. My spouse asked for medium and I wanted medium well for the steaks. When we cut into them mine was still bloody and the other was rare, we had to send both back. They also forgot the baked potato. We talked to our server who was nice, she brought out the missing potato,  and took our steaks back. I will say, that I was pleased to see that when they brought back our steaks, cooked more to our liking, they also brought out new sides with them. Overall our experience was ok, our server was good, the steaks decent. The signature mac and cheese was really good, we enjoyed the bread and the salad was huge!

My hubby and I came here for an early dinner/ late lunch. It's easy to find a good table around 3 or 4 because they don't transition to dinner until 5. That's when the crowd comes. The lunch menu has a wonderful variety of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, soups, salads and paninis. I chose a chicken cordon bleu panini and pasta salad. Portions were great and the meal was delicious. My husband and I split a huge slice of cheesecake drizzled with caramel after finishing our meal. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages until 6, after the crowd should be more mature as it turns more into a bar after.

Visited with friends and had great time. Menu selections varied enough that one wonât have a problem finding something to please. The Shepherds Pie is delicious. Very good beer selection on tap. Service is efficient, pleasant, and helpful. Great English Pub atmosphere. Pricing about what one would expect, moderate. Worth a try when in or near Petersbugh.
