We stopped here for a meal on a Tuesday for dinner. Plenty of good hearty meals listed on the menu and they didn't take long to be served. Good sized meals that were very good. Staff were friendly.

We recently visited on a Saturday pretty close to 12 noon, ie. restaurant opening time.The ambience of the bistro is nice, open fireplace, agricultural artefacts, etc.I ordered a parmi with Napoli sauce, the husband ordered the house special parmi. Both parmis arrived refrigerated cold, bar the batter enveloping them. Both parmis had just been taken out of the fridge and somebody must have forgotten to heat them up.We complained to the waitress whose comment was a rather noncommittal âI am sorryâ and then our plates were removed. We were waiting for the return of some heated parmis, no such luck. Not even an offer of a free dessert or a drink on the house was made. Feeling ripped off we requested our cold parmis to be returned to us in order to feed them to the dog. They arrived back at our table beautifully packed as takeaways. Oh dear, an experience not to be repeated.

....I went with family tonight and was disappointed I thought there were changes being made.. noticed menu changes . Quality was ordinary. I ordered a Kiev advertised as fresh Kiev but of course we know how that it unless there home made which this wasn't .It was so dry there was no sign of garlic butter inside it..one end was burnt. I wont be going back any time soon the meal quality needs to improve. Also the girl who took orders was constantly watching as people put veg or salad on there plate at one point I was going to ask her if she wanted to do it for me? maybe I was taking too much ? Not good very rude in fact .I can see why there were maybe only 20 people in there if that.

Sat at the bar - very basic place. Went the Texan Parma - this is interesting read on the menu - it came out was better than I thought. Filled me up. Wouldn't go out of my way for the food here , but at a bar is was large , fatty and filling what else could you ask for.Service was not superb, but once you got the attention it rolled well from there

Becoming popular, you may want to make a reservation to avoid missing out. We went with a group and reserved a long table near the piano. It fills up quickly, but ithere is extra space for standing. Drinks are reasonably priced at the bar. A gluten free pizza for 2 was $16. Put in your request early on in the night, and youâll be in for a fun night of singing and dancing.
