The Drift Inn bar and restaurant Buncrana is one like no other, set against the windswept banks of the Lough Swilly it stands out as a main vocal point on entrance to the town. The Drift Inn has a history which many will agree compares to no other bars in
Lovely pub this one. We went in for food but they don't serve on a Tuesday. Nevertheless we stayed for a few drinks. The Guinness is magnificent. Lovely and quiet with a really homely, cosy atmosphere. Love the low light, so relaxing. Very quirky decor. Good fun and a great outdoor area at the back.

NOT just a retaurant.pub/takeout place, though it is all that. This place has three rooms upstairs and is a great out of the way B&B. Restaurant open for breakfast for only the guests as far as we could tell -- and the quality and quantity of breakfast offers reflected the fact that the chef did not have that much else to do. This is THE place o stay closest to Malin Head. There's a pub a quarter of a mile north that means this is not the northernmost eat and drink establishment, but it IS the only close place to stay if you want early morning/late evening views of the northern tip of the island.

Stopped in for lunch after walking round malin head and cant say enough good things about this bar.Staff incredibly friendly and the half crab half prawn open sandwich was incredible .Definaletly worth a visit if you are anywhere near and whoever made the sandwich obviously takes great pride in it.
Took the two kids to pollen beach for a day out to get them of their phones tablets game consoles, also took husband cause he can drive and pay. After the beach went to the strand hotel for dinner, everything was lovely and well presented plus the plate was full of food. The staff were really helpful and friendly, we asked would there be a chance of a quiet table as my daughter gets nervous around a lot of people, the staff could not ha e done enough to make her feel welcome and comfortable. This is a lovely spot if your in the Ballyliffen area, go it a try
Friend and I ate here as we were guests at the hotel. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful, though at breakfast a little stretched. Food was ok for breakfast, although my pancakes were undercooked. Dinner was delicious and menu was varied. Service was super quick and staff lovely. Plenty to eat.

Situated at the foot of the Urris Hills on The Wild Atlantic Way, The Rusty Nail is one of Inishowen's hidden gems. With a welcoming open fire and friendly locals, The Rusty Nail provides a warm atmosphere to enjoy a good pint, a bit of craic, and of cour
Wasnât happy with this visit. Starters were very expensive for what you got. The meat quality within the steak burger was very poor also for â¬16. It wasnât a nice burger. We decided not to have dessert because of the menu price. This was my second visit however the first was not this poor. I will not be returning.
