Needing a light lunch without paying too much, we came across this small, family run trattoria and found exactly what we were looking for. First class service and an extensive menu using local produce made for an enjoyable visit. We had crostini with cheese and tomato which was delicious. With 2 beers, the cost was â¬20. No problem.

We ate there on a Thursday when all pizza's are just 4 euros each and much to our delight they are crispy thin, very tasty and full sized. The table charge was a mere 50c each a medium beer (very nice too) was 4 euros and a glass of wine 2.50. We also treated ourselves to onion rings with a smokey spicy sauce and fried mozzarella sticks with a mayo dip. For the more adventurous ( and a large group) there is the biggest sausage with chips and dips on offer to share. There was a good mix of young and young at heart dinning there and we suggest book a table if you go in the summer or weekends as its proving very popular. This a recent addition to the hotel Rosati, opposite the A1 connection at Chiusi, alongside the traditional restaurant Nonna Rosa. The owners are passionate about cars, radios and vespas and these are found within and around the premises. The staff and owners are very amenable and helpful and if in the area well worth a visit.

After dinner I felt like a nightcap and enjoyed a drink in this busy pub full of locals. A great selection of beers and jovial bartender made it very memorable.
