Went with a friend from UK after reading reviews and was highly disappointed. Place Stinks - Very Poor or No Air Con - None of popular Irish Beers such as Kilkeny or Guiness available. Even popular whiskey Brand such as Black Label or Johnny Walker which were displayed on Menu were not available. We had to move to another place as we didnt want to spoil our evening

Chipstead is undoubtedly a star of Chennai's bar scene. It's relaxed elegant atmosphere, exotic liquor choices and food have made me a regular goer. Another main reason to go to Chipstead is THULASI. He ensures that you are comfortable and gives you a personalized experience which lacks in other bartenders fron other bars or pubs in Chennai. He always insists you to try something new which you can blindly go with his choice. You should definitely try his signature cocktails. You can find this place filled with the crowd ranging from millennials to late 60's. Definitely my favorite pub in Chennai might be yours favorite too. Ok-ish place. The beer was served cold with not so appetising crisps, unsalted peanuts and other salted nuts. The place oozes 90âs charm. The ceiling is high and the service efficient. It was cozy n nice pace for couple n groups. Foods are very good n tasty but the portion is very less..ordered chick n tikka n surprise to see that it's only 3 pieces on it which I think is very less. Good ambiance, but considerably small place. Too crowded on the weekends, and especially when there is some promo offers happens.
