Johnnieâs is a decent small town bar. Staff is friendly and willing to laugh. Yes, the joint smells a bit but the beer is cold, tvâs are big, and the a/c is pumping cold air. Food is typical deep fried whatever. I had an hour to kill and they helped do just that.

Good Pizza, decent Prime on Sundays, servers are friendly and efficient. Check them out when in the area.
New Owner! Local full service bar and restaurant with amazing food and friendly staff. Happy hour and food specials including entertainment on various weekends.
Group of 5 and hungry for deep fried goodness. Tired of other local eateries and looking for something different. It was a Monday night around 8 pm. A few locals seated at the bar and we were the only ones in the âdining roomâ part of the bar. Older small town bar feel. The place is dimly lit and has decoy ducks attached to the ceiling. We ordered deep fried cauliflower, green beens and mushrooms. All were crispy and delicious. Mushroom Swiss burgers were good. Burgers are served with chips and a pickle but can be upgraded to fries with a up charge. Surprisingly good food at fair price.Basic beer taps, Pepsi products in cans with limited âtop shelfâ liquors. Basic good ole bar.Donât be in a hurry...one bartender and one cook.

The outside of this restaurant looks like an older house, so it's a tad confusing as to whether it's a restaurant and whether or not they were open. It's a small establishment that looks like it has regular customers. The bartender/server greeted us quickly and was very friendly and efficient. (5 stars for her!). We got the cod special and a cobb salad. The fish and french fries were okay-they use the thicker "skinny" fries and they were cooked just right. The Cobb salad was the worst salad I've ever had. Old iceberg lettuce, rubbery (couldn't even cut into) poached chicken, and the most pathetic brown rock hard (single) slice of avocado I've ever seen. It would have been better to just leave that single slice off the salad, rather than include it. Even though this is a bar, they should still be able to offer something besides all fried foods. I did enjoy the Gypsy vodka from Petoskey. As long as you stick to alcohol and fried food, you should be okay here, but if expecting something beyond that, I'd go elsewhere.

Casual Dining Atmosphere with a full menu. Great Burgers, local Whitefish much more. Full Bar with 16 Beers on tap featuring many Michigan Brews. Accessible through the Inland Waterways Seasonal shuttle service.
Last Saturday night we had another great event in Mulligan's Back Room - our 40th Class Reunion. It is always a pleasure to have gatherings at Mulligan's. As always, Mandy was gracious and easy to work with. The food was tasty and plentiful. Kristen was an awesome server - she took great care of us and was absolutely perfect. I will be sure to have my next special event at Mulligan's. Thanks everyone!

A lovely little European style wine pub features a wonderful selection of wine, select draft beers, a full bar and a delectable pub fare menu!
Didnât really care for the choices. Went with group of friends and service was on the slow side. Donât think Iâd go backHi Paula. Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. We are sorry that you were disappointed with us as we work very hard to try and make it a nice experience for everyone. If you do decide to visit us again, I hope we will have the chance to change your mind about The Queens Head Wine Pub. Again, thank you for your comments.
