we went to Cowboy Food & Drink for lunch recently, and I must say,that it was really, REALLY good.get this: when you first approach your table, the chairs are metal---h-m-m-m.but, "they" were very comfortable.plenty of food on the table---chicken, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, and assorted beverages. and, the restaurant was REALLY big, and nice & clean. plus, our server, who was quite busy, always found time to check on us.and, I didn't see one cowboy or horse horsing around. tee hee!!!I would REALLY like to go back there.

Recently stopped there to watch a football game. There were 2 bar tenders (or maybe a manager surprising at that may be working behind the bar), and not a large crowd. I felt as though we were doing them a favor being there. No one asked for our drink order when we sat down at the bar. When they finally did ask for our order, .....not a smile or a thank you. Food was as expected....but we would have stayed longer if we felt more welcome. You know....it is just a feeling you get when you know "they" don't care. Last time I was there about 10 days ago, there were different servers who made you feel welcome and at home. Stayed longer and felt so much better about the place that night. The food and drinks are always consistent and its a great place to watch a game. The other guests I was with felt the same way. It was if the bar tenders or manager had a chip on their shoulder. Just wanted to throw the service out there. Smiles, friendliness and service. There are lots of other places to wine and dine in Chagrin, where you feel welcome.

This is a bar/restaurant. I didn't mind the other place. This newer place seems geared a little more to a restaurant environment. There are some changes and it is opened up now. They have the maple bucket overhead lights at the table. Haven't seen a restaurant yet that has bright enough lighting this way though.Had the fish dinner and a cup of corned beef soup. Everything was perfect!The girl that took care of us at 4:00 was great! She showed that she cared about the customer and was a sweet person. Service would have been an excellent, but there was your replacement!The one that took over at 5:00 probably should not be a server. Maybe a bartender, but not waiting on tables. No personality, didn't check on the tables. She preferred to stay behind the bar and it showed. There is a fish fry that starts at 5:00 on Fridays. She probably dreads it! Maybe she was having a bad day, but this is how you make your tips sweetie! I have another tip for you. Put the phone down and quit texting, your customers come first!I'll probably go back, but it will be before 5:00 pm.
