Reviews on Pub food in Celbridge, Province of Leinster, Ireland. Celbridge (/ˈsɛlbrɪdʒ/; Irish: Cill Droichid) is a town and townland on the River Liffey in County Kildare, Ireland. 13 American visitors on a bus trip to Ireland. Went to this restaurant on a busy Sunday evening and had a wonderful experience. Staff were excellent and helpful and explained everything to each of my friends. Food was excellent and the service was superb. Beer was enjoyed by all and I certainly will be returning to enjoy the experience again.

The menu is huge, and really varied! However most of it is deep fried! I had garlic mushrooms and prawns and they were nice, but would have loved a bit more fresh/poached/grilled options? It is busy, you cannot book a table, the service is friendly!

Serving Lunch from 12pm with fresh salads, skinny soups and daily hot specials of quiches and pies. The evening menu has all the classic pub favorites including steak on the stone, slow roasted belly of pork with home made desserts such as key lime pie to
Had a family dinner there, first time in Lucan. The interiors were very impressive inside, so we thought the food was going to be even better. However, we were slightly disappointed with just an average taste. Could be better but could be worse. I'd give it 6/10. Great service though!

Thirst quenching cocktails married with a medley of live music and the intention to delight, we will inspire great atmosphere and give you a unique experience!
We arrived early for our meal and decided to try a few cocktails. Their cocktails menu was quite extensive and between us we enjoyed 5 different cocktails, all of which were served in different types of glasses and all fabulous. We asked for menus for Donatelloâs which is now downstairs and weâre able to decide on our meals whilst enjoying the drinks. When we went down to the restaurant, we were immediately shown to our table, which was at the very front beside the window. Throughout the meal our servers were very attentive and helpful. The food was served in good time and was absolutely fabulous. The restaurant was busy but service was still brilliant. Weâll definitively want another meal in Donatelloâs.

Myself and my other half decided to go out for dinner this evening. Neither of us wanted anything fancy, just nice simple food in a comfortable surrounding. And that's exactly what we got in the castletown inn. They have recently refurbished and it is a very comfortable set up which provides plenty of seats to choose from. My other half was looking forward to a pint of Guinness and I was looking for anything that didn't involve me cooking! We both left very satisfied. Staff are very attentive, food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return with the kids. Thumbs up here!

The bar/restaurant was busy and there certainly was a great choice from buffet to the menu. Service was very good and the staff were very friendly.Reasonably priced and whereas the menu wasn't exiting, this was lunchtime and it was certainly functional, ranging from soup & sandwiches to a full roast dinner. It seemed to attract a good mix of business people and locals, an certainly there was something to please anyone.Good food and good service - cant complain

Staff quick to take orders, but âeternal wait â for food. Staff avoid customer contact until finally served and then all ask if everything ok. No excuse given for delay ( was few customers!). Maybe will give another go but customers chasing staff on orders and getting a âsoonâ reply is not good, I would suggest.Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback.Apologies for the delay that you experienced on this occasion and we do hope that you will call back in again.
