27th Jan 2019.went to Palolem for a few days with friends and decided to compare the cherry olive with the Baga branch.Meals we tried between us included the famous steak pie, fish pie, cottage pie ,chicken and mushroom pie.I can only say each dish was very good and we found the quality was equal to the branch in Baga,The food was well presented and cooked to perfection! The manager/Owner Raj was very helpful and the staff well presented polite and professional.Well done to all the staff. Do not mistake the Cherryroom restaurant opposite as being the cherry olive

A lovely friendly and good value beach shack serving delicious food. Allowed to visit their kitchen which was spotless and well organised - seabass done in the Tandoor was particularly good. Very friendly and not at all pushy.
We stayed in the shack that's related to this pub called Don pedros haven so if there was anything that we wanted to eat, this is where we went... decent enuf place if and when there is no other option around

Landed this remote area trying to choose a place to dine on this rainy day...choose ignea over another one...no regrets..First time ever had a hot(warm) cocktail and went well on this rainy nite..The food was super..the apple walnut salad was awesome so also the mash potato that we ordered as accompaniment with the grilled food. The place even though open was not damp and has a unique way of serving the grill..I think every table has a centre opening where they set a lit coal grill into the slot and you then place your served skewers...for a few minutes before eating. Was quite unique, having been to quite many restaurants I had not seen such a set up...may be close to BBQ nation.Anyway throughly njoid the food even though the beef pieces were paper thin...could improve on this...looked too little on the skewer The deserts were awesome too ..white and brown chocolate fudge as was called ....very rich...order just enough....Hello Sparkie09, Thank you for the amazing rating. we are delighted to know that you loved the ambiance and food at Ignia. I visited this place for the second time and would want to go back again and again. Tino the owner specially takes personal interest in recommending the most delicious goan preparations specially made from his very own mothers home made masalas. Everything that you eat is either great or outstanding. The crab calamari goa sausage pork vindaloo prawn rava fry I can go on and on and on. One of the reasons for me to stay around Benaulim is three kisses. Thanks for your review. So glad that you liked the food. See you again.....
