Ralph and Ava's Public House is a hidden gem located in downtown Mooresville just 20 minutes from downtown Indy. We offer awesome appetizers from Krab Rangoon to cracklin hot pork rinds. We also have 7 ounce special blend hamburgers made from a combinatio
The stir fry was soked in soy sauce. It was way to salty. My wife sent it back and I think they just rinse it off and brought it back. She threw up when she got home. Should have never paid for it. My sandwich was good but the fries were under cooked. We will never be back. I should of cooked at home. I over heard said a customer said he drove 30 miles for prime rib and they didnât have any. Meijer has prime rib roast on sale for $6.99 a pound. Merry Christmas

Flew I Saturday for the 500 and had a couple of hours to kill before a friend hit town. I had checked airport bars on line and picked this as our meeting spot. Great race decor and location. Beer was cold and a decent selection. I got an order of onion rings and they we good and too many for one person. Staff was friendly and service was fine. Prices about normal for an airport.

You are a captured audience with many airport restaurants and the food and service are marginalized because there is no other place to go. Wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the service and food. We had the Cheese Quesadilla and the Overlake sandwich. Both were served in a timely manner by Hailey, bother were hot and fresh and rather tasty. We would come back here when passing through Indy next time

We always stay in Plainfield at the Baymont Inn and Suites when flying out of Indianapolis. We took a back way to Barnes and Noble Bookstore and realized we were in a shopping mall. Lucky for us, there are several restaurants in the mall. The young woman at Barnes and Noble suggested Claddagh, which is literally across the sidewalk. We went in and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the staff. Since it was Good Friday, we ordered the Fish N Chips (half order) and it was huge! I cannot imagine eating the full order. The fish was lightly battered and extremely moist. There are two Pubs, one in downtown Indianapolis and this one that is in Plainfield. I know we will return the next time we stay in Plainfield.
Heavy's works with Steel Horse Thunder to put on a great bike night every Thursday night. They have drink specials and lots of bikes outside with events going on. The bar itself is VERY smoke filled (like maybe that is where the Heavy comes from): I've heard smokers complain about how thick it is.

We were staying in the area for a volleyball tournament and decided to go to the Black Swan Brewpub mainly because we could walk from our hotel. There were 8 of us and we didnât have a reservation but were able to get in and get seated right away. The girls ordered the giant pretzel as an appetizer and it is by far the largest pretzel we have ever seen! And it was soft and warm! Plenty for the entire table to share. Some decent beer choices and also other beverages if you donât want beer. Someone in our group ordered a Moscow mule but it doesnât come in the cooper mule cup so if that is important to you, I wood suggest ordering something else. The food all came out very quickly. Someone in our group orders a burger well done and it was basically burnt. The burger that was ordered rare, seemed to be good. I had the fish and chips and that was nice cod and the batter was good but no malt available. The fries were also pretty good. Others had the Reuben sandwich which was very hearty and the shepherds pie which definitely wasnât the traditional English shepherds pie and more like a stew. Service was friendly and efficient but maybe a hit too much as the waitress didnât ask us if we wanted more drinks when we were done eating. She just asked if we wanted the check. If there werenât any other choices, we might go back but wouldnât plan on it.

Have eaten at this Applebee's several times but felt inclined to review it for the first time.Went on a Monday evening and found they were having their $6.99 hamburger special. My wife and I ordered the All Day Brunch Burger and the American Standard. It was the first time I had eaten a burger at Applebee's with the seared in ingredients of bacon and onion. Makes for eating a neater hamburger and, although the Brunch Burger comes with crispy hash browns and a fried egg (mine was over easy), it was still easy to handle and eat on the bun. Fries were the side. All of the for came out hot and was very good. The restaurant was clean and the service excellent. We sat in the bar area which had multiple television screens. It's a great deal for a hamburger and fries for $6.99!
