we did not book assuming a Tuesday night would be quiet :-), and it was to start with, we were welcomed warmly and seated by the fire, menu and water were quickly delivered, orders were taken promptly and delivered amazingly quick,The Scotch, Ribs and fish were excellent choices for our small party. Great service, good food and seated near the fire. Fab night - thanks.

Fun restaurant with excellent food and beer. We ordered the BBQ Smoke House Meat Board for 2 and really enjoyed sampling all their wonderful meats. In addition, we ordered a tasting rack so we could sample their beers. We very much enjoyed our dinner.

Prince Albert Old English Pub

There are not many options in central Cambridge for a quiet drink and pub meal, so this was an excellent find - although off the main street it is down the back behind the shops. We struck it on a quiet day - a few drinks, sport on TV and a good steak feed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and i'll return next time i'm back in Cambridge.

Now come on 5 Stags I know you can do better, yes there was a number of us, yes we booked, I was ignored at the counter on arrival :-( found my own table-Thank you.Had to be reminded to come get the orders, drinks order was quick though. My scotch was great but some of our party chose lamb most thought it was tasty but a little chewy, the ribs were chewy, service was great apart from the waiting to order. Over all disappointing as I have been here before and felt the food was outstanding which is why we chose for tonight.

I had my oldest boys 21st here last night and i couldn't be more pleased with the enthusiasm of the team with friendly bar staff. Two awesome security guys who did their job well, An accommodating patron/manager/owner. We started off about 21 of us with meals, deserts and drinks. Food was reasonable priced ranging from$16-$35 and $8 for the deserts. Kids meals $12.includes 1 drink, main and desert. All meals were extra large, came with salad and fries. We had a DJ Tobias Henderson who was awesome. Thank you John for running a great, organised team. Made my job as Mum easier. Bar closed midnight. All premises nice and clean. Inside and outside dining. Good views and trotting track right outside. Very popular with the locals.
