The outdoor seating area is VERY charming and quiet. But just step inside and you really would have trouble hearing people at your own table--even on a week night. I guess that speaks in favor of the food, which was excellent. I had the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious, and I heard that the veggie tacos were great as well. Spaghetti Bolognese had a lot of carrots in it and looked good. Service was just fine and the bartender did a good job. We will return, but just in the summer to sit outside.

We targeted the Gazebo, which is an especially nice and open part of the restaurant. In the winter, we have targeted the area in the lounge near the fireplace during Fall and Winter. Chefs were recently changed, and we have not eaten there since the new chef took over. Regardless, the atmosphere and service here are really lovely, and will greatly overcome any complaints about the food, which has been very good.

We eat at the Chiliâs in Riverdale from time to time and the service is usually pretty good. Canât say that about our most recent visit. Only one other time was it this bad here, but that was years ago. The visit started off ok as our server took our order and the food and drinks were brought out by other people in a reasonable time frame. Then the problems started. We saw that we had no napkins, so we asked Stacy the server for some. What an attitude and sourpuss we got from her. She was basically doing nothing but having personal conversations with some coworkers when we asked. God forbid she had to actually do something for a customer. When she finally got our napkins, she basically threw them at us and ran off. Very rude. Another issue was when we asked another server for drink refills. They never came. Another 30 minutes go by and we wanted to pay with cash, but nobody ever comes close enough to our table to flag down. Too many workers here talking to each other and ignoring customers. Left our money on the table and finally left fed up. Wonât be going back for awhile. Hopefully they weed out a lot of the poor workers. We're really sorry for everything you experienced on this visit. The service should have been fast and attentive, and rudeness is completely unacceptable. Thatâs not the experience we want for our Guests. We'd really like to make this up to you. Can our Guest Engagement team connect with you? Please call us at 1-800-983-4637. Thanks!

This place has really great food, outside and inside dining, live music friday nights, and it needs to be rated as it is a hidden gem.
I'm glad that I returned to this restaurant. I can't account for what happened last summer, but service then was slower and, since I'd been hankering for a nice steak, only to find that they were out of their prime cut, I was hesitant to reexperience the same scenario. However, it was MOTHERS DAY and a place my family often goes on their own.Well, number one, the service was top notch. Plus, I didn't mind waiting a bit for my surf and turf (tender steak and a lobster tail) because I knew that each meal was being prepared to order back in the kitchen. A glass of wine, beer on tap, and sodas kept the family refreshed while everything simmered and roasted. We received individual attention from the owner who was scuttling about, ensuring his patrons of a great meal and timely service. Delicious! Down to the last morsel. I wasn't disappointed this time.

We stopped with a group of three for dinner and for some reason expected typical pub food. Boy were we surprised with the quality of the food and its great taste. Overall, we had three different selections, and all were extremely good. These included the Chicken Pot Pie, the Bangers and Mashed, and the Beef Stew.We are often passing through the area, and we will be sure to eat here again!

I had lunch with a friend at Blu Alehouse. Megan was our server. She was very accommodating. We started out being seated outside, which my friend had requested, but since there were no umbrellas for shade and it was quite warm outside, I really needed to move inside. Not a problem. Megan simply reseated us inside to a quiet spot where we could catch up. This place is great for that, since itâs not noisy the way many other restaurants are. My friend suggested the lobster rolls, and since I had never had one, I jumped at the chance. And since the order included two, we shared the order, which also included the restaurantâs homemade potato chips, which were spicy, crispy, and delicious, as was the lobster roll, along with an Arnold Palmer to drink. It was a very nice lunch, and Megan was perfect...no rush, very nice, and was even helpful when we were looking for someplace else for dessert. I would definitely come back.

When they first opened and the family who owns it was cooking, the food was out of this world. Now, the food is literally inedible. From the mac and cheese that had MUSTARD in it, I imagine for color?, that both me and a friend sent back, to the "black bean" burger which had zero black beans and instead was a gummy mushroom patty, to the twice in a row my friend got sick from eating sandwiches there, just awful. There was another recent visit when the mac and cheese was so salty as to be inedible. They need to get people who know how to cook back in the kitchen! So disappointing. I would rate it one star for the food, though the fries are still great. Still, can't make a meal out of fries. But we used to come here literally just to eat the delicious food. Now it is completely inedible. Three visits in a row (a week or two apart), just sent food back or left it uneaten. So sad. :( Giving it the three stars because still has excellent beer selection and ciders on tap, and the atmosphere is still cool. But we don't go there anymore for anything but trivia night and now eat dinner before we go.

Jiggs is a casual bar and grill on route 23 in Butler New Jersey. Jiggs features a large bar area with TV's situated around the bar and on the walls playing a variety of sporting events. The menu is the typical combination of appetizers, burgers, steaks, sandwiches, fried shrimp, some seafood such as salmon and tilapia, soups and salads. Their burgers are very good and they are known for very good wings in a variety of sauces. They also have live bands throughout the week and the weekend and other events like live mic nights. Jiggs is a fun place for food, drinks and music.
