We are a group of mostly middle-aged couples who have visited this establishment about 6-8 times a year since it first opened, as well as additional visits separate from the group. Weâve enjoyed the craft beer selection and food, and until recently have always been able to get separate checks during our visits, regardless of the size of our group, which can be as few as three or as large as ten or eleven. So, it was a big surprise when on our most recent visit, the waiter brought us one long tab for the entire group of nine, instead of several tabs. It also had an automatic 20% tip added. I know this happens at many restaurants around the country with large groups, but this is not that common in Bozeman, and it certainly was not our experience here in the past. The waiter did offer to split the tab among multiple credit/debit cards, but it was up to us to figure out who owed what. So now we had nine people who were ready to depart who had to wait their turn to get the small slip of paper and figure out their amounts. Some totaled their items, and then gave a figure to the waiter with 20% tip added. Those people got a credit card slip back that then had 20% auto tip on top of the 20%! It was chaos! There was a lot of grumbling from us, but no apologies from management. Whatâs also alarming is that this is a tap room and Montana law only permits 48 ounces per person per day. How the heck are they keeping track of this, if everyone is on one tab?!! Our group has decided not to patronize this place anymore. There are plenty enough of other great tap rooms and breweries in this town to visit (such as Bridger Brewing) that give us separate tabs, no problem.

Enjoyed our first visit to Bozeman, including Blend Winery Tasting Room & Art Gallery! The staff made us feel at home and the space is gorgeous. We loved every photo gracing the walls, and the custom split log table was a perfect centerpiece. Great wine offerings available too!

We are a home grown, family friendly brewery and tasting tasting room. We regularly have 12 beers on tap and a different food truck nightly. Come find your favorite, or, combine a few to create your own taste of Montana!
Great beer friendly staff but they close at 20:00 and can only serve you three pints under their tasting licence. Worth the visit though for the beer

We had just come back from Yellowstone after driving through a hailstorm through a mountain pass, we were hungry and Hotel clerk said there was no place open. We searched on google and found old Chicago. It was still open till midnight so, off we go and get a great pizza. They have thin, mid or thick crust. We had the mid and it was great.

For my taste -- we have teenage boys so we eat burgers fairly often -- this is a solid A burger. It had good flavor, was well cooked, and had a nice bun. (I went with the Backcountry, no cheese.) The side salad was good, not great.

Last night: Excellent views even after the stormy afternoon weather.Friendly folks, great vibe and the food...Above and beyond what we expected. My husband and I have visited a lot of breweries around the country and most have the same type of fare. MAP Brewing has delicious homegrown beef hamburgers (BIG/stacked too high to fit into your mouth - get utensils!) with fresh local produce making up the salad and slaw. The music was amazing - A solo guy from Minnesota who sang family friendly songs (lots of kids here) across many decades so there was something for everyone. The decor is very cool and the bathrooms were a trip.Oh, there is also a place at the front where you can buy MAP merchandise too. Thanks so much for the great review! Glad you found your way in and enjoyed everything! Cheers

This is Montanaâs best local pizza chain, & it is worth enjoying & sharing with friends visiting from out-of-state.We are so pleased you enjoyed everything and took the time to leave a review! Visited today for lunch and sampled several beers - all were delicious. Try the bison pepperoni pizza - unique and tasty! This is the rare brewpub that excels in food and beer. Enjoy the views from the upstairs patio. Service excellent too.

After a day of travel (flights Tenn.-Texas-Montana), my boyfriend and I were exhausted and STARVING!!! Luckily, this gem of a restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, which was good for our souls. Ever had gourmet tater tots? No? I highly recommend them as a starter. Larger than "regular" tater tots, they are full of flavor and come with a tasty dipping sauce. We were torn on the entree, but we decided on the meatloaf (bacon-wrapped bison, I believe) and the shepherd's pie. Both were incredibly good! The restaurant was very clean and inviting, and food was moderately priced. You should check it out!
