This Scottish pub has a great feel to it. You can tell the food is super fresh, therefore delicious. My husband loved the steak. A great choice when in bowral.

A well structured menu with plenty of choice plus daily specials. Friendly service both in the bar and separate dining area. Nice decor throughout. Across our table of 6, all meals were enjoyed, and all were good serve sizes. Appears a well run pub and would return. Has outdoor area as well.

Ordered the special cod. It arrived hard and overcooked with a very fishy flavour. Good blue eyed cod is not fishy unless the fish is old. The dish was basically inedible. We explained this predicament politely to the lovely waitstaff who happily offered another choice of meal. Soon after that the manager burst from the kitchen and angrily insisted that we were mistaken as the fish had been cooked to a perfect 62 degrees. We found this embarrassing assertion and accusation by management pretty rude to say the least. We definitely wonât be back and would caution other hopeful diners to stay clear.

Ate here with business colleagues one of whom was vegan - who clearly and politely asked for vegan nachos, explaining no sour cream or cheese. When it was served with cheese my colleague politely pointed out the error, to which the server rolled her eyes and aggressively and reluctantly took back the plate. After about 20 minutes the replacement turned up to be slammed on the table with the pronouncement âhere you goâ. Atrociously rude and unnecessary - regardless of her opinion people are allowed to ask for food to their preference, particularly as it actually costs less to provide a dish like that without these ingredients. The rest of our meals were mediocre but satisfied the most baseline expectations for this type of establishment. This pub need to train its staff in the most basic standards of customer service.
Guys...Iâve had better meals at Sizzler Campbelltown!!!$48 dollars for the mixed platter - chewy, unseasoned, unmarinated meat, with less than half a sausage. The best thing is the best hot sauce, not saying much.Avoid unless youâve never owned or used a BBQ before. On the upside Iâm opening my own BBQ restaurant now.
