Food in makkum is pretty much the same, wherever you go...some places do some things better than others. This place has HUGE portions (normal around here) but they aren't terrific. It IS a good place to hang out, have drinks & people watch. The best staffmember is ANGELIQUE, she's super friendly, fun, and genuinely cares about her customers. Sime of the others could use an attitude adjustment! But you can usually find a table outside to sit in the sun, & the beer/wine is good.

Although this is a restaurant, it also advertises itself as a pub, which suited us fine as we only wanted beers. The interior blends the eating and drinking parts of the pub seamlessly and we enjoyed very good service and beer while happily ensconced at the bar.If itâs a pub you want - you wonât find better in Workum.

This place is a real gem in the cute town of Sneek. The location is central. The interior decoration is very warm and classy. The concept is great: normal prices for good food - not just brownies and coffee - including soup and sandwiches. There is a social part to this place: part of the crew is formed by colleagues with a distance to the labour market (the latter part of the name refers to Down syndrom). The staff could 't be more friendly and doing there utmost to give you the best service. The coffee, brownies and lunch food we had, tasted great. We will definately go back when we are in Sneek again.

Wij hopen dat de herstart van dit restaurant echt van de grond komt. Het is meer dan de moeite waard. De bediening was accuraat en vriendelijk en het eten gewoon goed. Wij komen terug !
