stopped going to this pub a couple of years ago because it just seemed so unloved and went there for a mothers day meal and the food looked like someone had already had a go at it .Now its one of tha blackrose chains pub looks great garden pretty but food still a bit of microwavy texture ordered the beef bourginon meat was tender but the mash like old school dinners

Another terrible visit to the Camden if it wasnât the closest pub to my house I wouldnât bother coming. Always dirty and poor service. Toilets are a joke always flooding no toilet paper door doesnât shut. The garden also a mess old broken furniture tables full of glasses and the chance of getting fruit in drink never gonna happen. A real shame as it could be a nice pub if it run better.Hi there Sam ,Thanks for taking the time to post.Sorry you didn't enjoy your time here, We do monitor our toilets but sometimes people make a mess and it's a while before we find out and respond. We have just bought new furniture for the garden and we appreciate at busty times we aren't always able to keep up the levels you deserve.As for getting fruit in your drink, my name is peter, ask for if you get served a drink without lemon or lime that you want and I shall personally pay for your drink!I hope that this helps.Many thanksPeter

The rose in Bexleyheath offers something that few Pubs can offer these days , Great food in a friendly back drop but also a great place for a quiet drink. I have been going here periodically for years both for food with my parents and also for a quick drink with friends. The food is traditionally home cooked I would recommend the Ploughmans. The staff are friendly and attentive. So if you are in the Broadway and fancy a nice drink of a spot of great home-cooked food try this little Gem

Good beer but not cheap for the area. Limited food served. Dog friendly plus there is a soppy pub dog. Background music which the staff will turn down on request. Very limited car parking but on excellent bus routes (24 hour service). Bed and breakfast offered.

My first visit but very impressed. Comfortable without being pretentious, great menu and (for those interested) good real ale selection too. I just went for a French stick but this was fine. The pasta special was tasty I believe - and the omelette was served with a very generous portion of chips and salad. Many other tasty-looking options too. AND reasonably priced.

We went here on Monday for lunch. The food was quite good pub food and filling. Also it was very reasonably priced. We had the Monday Specials, which at £3.99 each, were not bad at all. Served in record time by really good friendly bar staff. Ordered a desert and was delivered by a friendly polite member of floor staff named Taylor. Was very attentive and checked to make sure if there was anything else needed and checked back after a short time.Wonderful review and well received. I had time to spare before an appointment so on the spur of the moment i decided to have breakfast here. I enjoyed it. Got a great friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar. Indeed, both her and her colleague on duty were great ambassadors for the brand. i visited on 20th June 2019 and my bill is timed at 09.40. I think that the person who welcomed me may have been Lucie as that's the name on the till receipt. The pub was clean and tidy. A cheap and cheerful community pub with value food but standards are too low. The pub was grubby, the gents loos were horrific, full used blocked toilets, missing tiles, filth, loo roll everywhere as no one wanted to touch a handle or tap with bare hands.Food was microwave as you would expect but ours left the plate when it was put down by the grubby server, the beef was picked up and put back on the plate and the hot gravy went all over the kids clothes.Coffee was see- through weak, wait times was about 55 minutes for mains and 30 for desserts. Positives were that the team seemed friendly, lots of events advertised and as I said, cheap food prices. Warm and well lit. Itâs just too dirty and whilst prices are equivalent to Wetherspoons or McDonalds, the standards are at the opposite end of the spectrum.H67bug, we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our pub.
