Served in record time by really good friendly bar staff. Ordered a desert and was delivered by a friendly polite member of floor staff named Taylor. Was very attentive and checked to make sure if there was anything else needed and checked back after a short time.Wonderful review and well received. Taylor is very happy to be mentioned and it makes a difference to team members when customers give such lovely feedback. We hope to see you again soonKind regards Alex Kane GM

The Yacht

The Yacht is famous for flame-grilled food and sizzling skillets. All of our steaks are 28 days matured and there's nowhere better to get a pint when the football's on! We offer a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, unbeatable value and a great place to me

A cheap and cheerful community pub with value food but standards are too low. The pub was grubby, the gents loos were horrific, full used blocked toilets, missing tiles, filth, loo roll everywhere as no one wanted to touch a handle or tap with bare hands.Food was microwave as you would expect but ours left the plate when it was put down by the grubby server, the beef was picked up and put back on the plate and the hot gravy went all over the kids clothes.Coffee was see- through weak, wait times was about 55 minutes for mains and 30 for desserts. Positives were that the team seemed friendly, lots of events advertised and as I said, cheap food prices. Warm and well lit. It’s just too dirty and whilst prices are equivalent to Wetherspoons or McDonalds, the standards are at the opposite end of the spectrum.H67bug, we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our pub. Your feedback helps us improve, so thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. If you are willing, please give us a call at 020 8303 4889 so we can discuss your experience further. We look forward to hearing from you.

We were looking forward to a nice night out at the Bull Celebrating our 32nd Anniversary. Its not that it was spoiled in any way, just a combination of minor annoyances. The venue was my wife's choice as she had heard good things and wanted to try somewhere different. We had a table booked for 7pm but chose to arrive around 6pm to have a couple of drinks in the bar prior. My wife wanted a large glass of red, my choice was a G & T. We chose the Lounge bar as it was very busy in the main bar with the football on.The service was very slow on the bar, the barman poured my wife's wine and then reached for another wine glass I interjected, I wanted a Gin and Tonic. He advised they have no bowl glasses left. I advised I didn't want my drink in a wine glass, do you not have a tumbler? Which he produced from below. Then I got the price, a shy over £16!When I went up for the 2nd round i waited at the bar for around 5 minutes with the team buzzing backwards and forwards putting glasses away etc. Not one of them acknowledged I was waiting and they would get to me shortly. The Barman who previously served my actually went back to the other bar as a team had scored and celebrated where he then noticed me with obvious annoyance on my face came over to serve me.We were so unimpressed with the bar my wife said to me to go and cancel our table and we will go to our usual restaurant. I declined as I knew she wanted to try the Bull.On entering the restaurant everything changed. The staff were attentive and explained the menu to us, brought us some tap water without asking and generally saw to us well. Our food was lovely and would merit a return visit but the prices for alcohol are just greedy. I know the area is affluent but that is not an excuse.Sorry Bull, we will not be back.My markings are low to reflect the poor service in the Bar area. The restaurant was good.Dear SteveVJuddThank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry that the bar service was not up to our usual standards, I have looked at the schedule to see who was working on the lounge bar on the night in question and I will be speaking to the about your concerns. I am glad that you enjoyed your experience in the restaurant, but I'm sorry to hear that you wont return. Kind regards
