We had passed this restaurant many times because it is very conveniently located to a shopping area and cinema where we frequently go. We wanted to try someplace different for our anniversary lunch so we chose J. Timothy's Taverne. We were very pleased with the colonial pub atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is eclectic -- so many choices! We both ordered the open-face crab melt sandwich with onion straws as the side. Delicious, and just the right portion size. We will definitely visit J Timothy's again soon to try some more of the many tempting offerings.

Went to this restaurant mainly because they were open late and another restaurant we wanted to go to was already closed. It was rather noisy with mainly young people out on the town. Had the grilled cheese lobster sandwich because I thought one should try a lobster dish while in New England. It was a disappointment. My companion had the Wagyu beef burger which was much tastier. Should stick with their burgers. Our server wasn't particularly attentive or efficient.
Went for drinks and an appetizer waitress was pleasant when we saw her , felt a little abandoned waited way too long between visits to the table not sure if was staffing related but service was not great ,food was good and so were the drinks
Nice change of pace. A little crowded but that is good too, means lots of business and people keep coming back. Check it out.

My friends and I have been frequenting Casa Mia over the last year for their Saturday night bands. The bar food is overpriced and unimpressive. We always eat before we go. Their drinks are also overpriced and they charge a $5 per person cover charge. The bands are usually pretty good and the dance floor has enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves.I will mention that the past 2 Saturdays weâve had horrible service. Last Saturday we had to go the bar to get our own drinks after watching several waitresses tending to others. At the end of the night while we were on the dance floor they decided to take our half full drinks. We did get replacements after I firmly stated my disapproval of the service. Last night our waiter was very attentive to our needs. But when we got our bill, there were many additional drinks which I crossed out and told him to ring again. I later found out that someone in our party had paid for some of it already. The table next to us had the same issue. So we will continue to go there for Saturday bands but will not eat there and will get our own drinks from the bar.

A very low key neighborhood tavern. We were disappointed that we couldn't play darts but we were told if we wanted to bring our own darts that we could. We we were told that patrons walk off with the darts.Service was great and the food was fine. Very relaxing and we all enjoyed it very much and plan on returning.
