The Maine Maritime Museum celebrates this long heritage, with 25 acres of historic waterfront featuring original 19th century shipyards and exhibits. Named one of the "Best Small Cities in America," Bath offers visitors the opportunity to wander down treelined streets, along the Kennebec River and past beautifully restored 19th century homes.

I've been to Ireland three times and visited at least a hundred pubs (no exaggeration), and Byrnes could be found anywhere in Ireland. They're one of the few Irish pubs in New England that carry Murphy's Irish Stout. Their onion soup (just like French, except with blue cheese topping along with the cheddar) is really good. Nice ambiance -- lots of brick, dark wood, and all kinds of interesting decor. Reasonable prices, friendly and funny bartender. A place to revisit on the next trip to Bath.

We really enjoyed our meal but the service was really slow. I think they need more staff. I'm never happy when I wait 20 mins, for the check.
Live Edge Lounge is an intimate rustic basement gastropub in historic downtown Bath, resplendent with live edge furniture handmade by the owners. Welcoming, unpretentious setting with local beer, outdoor seating, eclectic dinner menu and cocktail menu to
This is a very comfortable place to have a bite to eat or a relaxing drink after a long day. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Also when the weather is nice it is dog friendly with the outdoor seating.
Love this place! Located almost under the bridge and very central in town, friendly bar staff, 1/2 price drinks from 9-11pm during the week. I have yet to order any food from here but have heard it's good. Commonly known as "Riverdive". They had a fun DJ last night and it was very busy, all locals. Nothing here is fancy but I like it that way!
