Found this little gem of a place and stopped for lunch. The burgers were so huge almost intimidating! The bartender/server was just a delight. I am thinking this place would be a lot of fun at night with the band. Will definitely go back!

A "cheers" style, sports friendly pub in Olde Town Arvada!
We stopped in for lunch and just wanted to split an order of their fish-and-chips (that was being promoted on the sandwich board outside). The server didn't give us any grief, and even had the chef split the order onto two plates, which meant that of the five fish fillets, one had to be cut in half (on the diagonal, of course :) Nice. It was too warm to sit outside, but we could well imagine how pleasant it might be to dine and people-watch.Fun, old, historic building sets the tone for this place. Exposed brick and a long bar that's probably close to original. You can certainly get a sense of history of the town and the building from dining here.

Stopped in here for the first time in a while, and found the beer is still great, and they've expanded the menu. Excellent craft beer and delicious food, we found it pleasant place for a family gathering.

We sat on the large patio which is dog friendly since we had our dog with us. We ordered fried prickles, shishito peppers and artichoke dip. Vegetables have never been more delicious. We also enjoyed great craft beers, including a blackberry saison style beer and a boysenberry blonde ale.

BAD is GOOD. Like when something is so outrageous you can't help but love it. That's the inspiration at Bad Daddy's. Here, the humble hamburger is given super star status. With premium All-Natural Angus Beef, sizzled up hot on our grill, and surrounded wi
Burgers are amazing and so are the sides that you have a choice of. Love the tator tots. You scan make your own burger with a huge selection of toppings. Marcelle, we really appreciate you reaching out to leave us some love! We appreciate your patronage and are excited to see you next time

We're not sophisticated craft beer people, so the huge selection was a bit overwhelming. Everyone in our group found a couple beers to try and enjoyed them. The sausage sandwiches are huge, and they pile high the fries. Good service, prices just a bit high for this kind of a picnic-tables style bar. The place is wide open with picnic-table style dining. Acoustics are bad, so it's very loud.

Loved this pizza spot! Cool location in an eclectic area. The ingredients were superb and the crust was perfectly baked with a wonderful flavor. If youâre picky about your pizza, this is your place!

During the day, we are a coffee house that focuses on espresso-based drinks while proudly serving an array of Bourbon-inspired and other pastries, muffins, cakes, scones and cakes. At night, we turn into a Bourbon bar where people feel "at home", dishing
Wednesday nights are really hopping with live music, distillery on sight (private party). And the dinner crowd. The musician Will Whelan was great! Music was a little loud for having dinner conversation but nonetheless good. Service was slow probably because of the private party. Also couldnât sit on the back patio because of the private party. Ordered pizza and although it took awhile, it was very good. Prices reasonable for that type of restaurant. I would definitely go again.

We decided to try the Arvada Tavern in Old Town Arvada, because we had been experimenting at home with different ways to make an Old Fashioned. The Arvada Tavern has an excellent reputation for making amazing cocktails. We arrived at 3:50 on Labor Day and discovered they did not open until 4:00 PM. We waited in their outdoor seating area and were joined by several other groups who were also there for drinks and food. That's a good sign! They finally opened and welcomed us inside. Everyone was invited to sit where they wished, because the bartenders seemed to know everyone. It was a mid 30's to mid 60's crowd. No children when we were there and they did check ID's. So we sat at the bar and ordered an old Fashioned, an Old Town Old Fashioned and a Manhattan. Watching the mixologists was a real treat because the had rows of little bottles containing all sorts of ingredients that they added to the drinks they were making. The Old Hashion's were different, and both very good. Their original recipe Old Fashion was just what you expected but the house creation was excellent. I later asked them to make an Old Fashioned my way and they did, creating a spitting image of what we have been making at home. They said nice recipe. The Manhattan was also great. They have a Tavern creation, "Smoke and Mirrors" that involves burning a whisky barrel stave, capturing the smoke in the glass, adding a large ice cube, 2 x 2, to the glass and covering the glass to coat everything with the smoke. There are 4 or 5 additional alcohols, including Laphroaig added to the glass, so there is a hint of smoke. It was an excellent drink and quite an entertaining production. We also had an Irish Coffee, and it was every bit as good as what you will enjoy at the Buena Vista in San Francisco. The drinks are so good I recommend you have a designated driver, because you can easily get yourself in to trouble if you start having to much fun. But they do keep an eye on you! The bartenders are very entertaining and will tell you exactly what they are doing. The menu also has some great appetizers that we enjoyed at the bar. We saw many patrons eating full meals at their tables. This is a good place to eat good food as well as enjoy an excellent cocktail. So if you find yourself in Old Town Arvada and not wanting to go to another cookie cutter bar, go to the Arvada Tavern and you will become a fan and a regular.
