Things to do in Ardmore
We recently went to the Ardmore Music Hall as a friend's daughter was playing in a Blue Grass Band (Damn Tall Buildings). The venue was really terrific. It was very spacious, and yet felt cozy and intimate at the same time. There were small tables all around with two tiers of seating. Some people got out of their seats and were dancing towards the front. There is a cover charge- depending on the show, and they do serve salads, wraps, and some Middle Eastern options and there is a bar. We would definitely go back- for us it was a new discovery in Ardmore.

My husband and I went there for dinner with another couple. There is not much to like about the atmosphere. And the food was not much better. Our soup was cold and we had to send it back. The pasta was just ok. The nachos were horrible with the cheese not evenly spread and not much else on it. And the pulled pork was nothing to write home about.

tough to review this as it's not a bar, and not really a restaurant either, its mostly a retail beer distributor with a classy display case. big selection of mostly private, small label and import selections of things like IPA's, and some draft selections in the back at a mini bar area. staff are available to talk up the varieties and vagaries of how to pick your poison. small area of high-tops to relax and set a while. gets crowded during happy hour where they knock a buck off a draft for all the thirsty drinkers who wander in. Not a fan of all the weird choices in particular and as single selections they come to about what it would be in a full bar or more, but that's what you get for broad selection. They serve little bites of food as well, and in contradiction to what others may have reviewed here, I can firmly state the hot dogs are terrible. wouldnt go out of my way to go here but it was convenient to meet friends. very slow service when busy, one barkeep. Closes kinda early.

Whiskey and Craft cocktails, California wines, Craft Beer and Throw Back American Food. Beautiful outdoor space in the courtyard!
What a fabulous restaurant! 4 of us shared a bunch of small plates and each one was better than the next. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was intimate with a noise level that allowed for easy Conversation. Will go back!!!

Had a very nice lunch- tacos and beers - with a business associate. Service very good and staff friendly and accommodating. Tacos were crispy chicken- three on a board. I would order again! Lunch event was spoiled by an overzealous Havertown parking nazi who wrote me a ticket in an unmarked, no meter spot. Thanks Havertown..

O.K, let me begin by saying that you can't go wrong with the food. The chicken wings are exceptional. The prime rib special is great. Dinner salads are always fresh and satisfying - real greens. The chicken marsala, shepherd's pie, lobster ravioli, and baked salmon are never disappointing. If you want simpler fare they have a good selection of burgers and sandwiches. I don't really indulge anymore but I know that their desserts continue to be awesome. Also they are competitive in their beer selection with the two breweries in town. The one thing that prevents a top score is the noise level. This is a small tavern and when it is crowded the sound can be very loud indeed! Most of the time we have gone has been on the weekends admittedly but it is a popular place and dinnertime all week draws a good crowd. If you're O.K. with noise and don't plan on having an intimate talk with your significant other by all means don't hesitate!

White Dog Cafe has been engaging its local community with award-winning contemporary American cuisine, since 1983 in Philadelphia and since 2010 in Wayne. Known for creative menus, using the highest quality farm-fresh ingredients and humanely raised meats
WOW! first time here. We had spent two days in downtown Philadelphia and were meeting my fiance's relatives at this restaurant, which was 20 minutes from their house. 6 of us. Honestly, this restaurant is definitely 5-stars. Incredible service and wish i could remember her name. Knew the menu so well and even took time to get a gluten free roll for one of our guests while we snacked on the other rolls.Cucumber and salmon mouse sandwich for me and I kept sneaking french fries from my fiance's plate - outstanding. The quality of the food and the great choices (rotating menus with the seasons) made me wish i could have eaten here more times!Truly a treat and such a well decorated restaurant too! Very popular place for lunch - place was very crowded for lunch!

New American cuisine prepared in a scratch kitchen, paired with an on-site brewery producing fresh, award-winning beers, all in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Happy Hour specials available Monday-Friday from 4pm-6pm. Reservations are accepted for lun
I've got to say that depending on which location, you dine, the rating will change. Overall, the food is okay, service is always excellent. The noise and overcrowding makes it not worth it for me. I rated it 3 stars, because a certain crowd may see it as a fun bar spot.

These guys know GOOD Beer and they make it even better. It appears they got inspiration from the great farmhouse breweries in Belgium and then combined their knowledge of beer making with good old American ingenuity --- voila â they created some master brews, all balanced, but demonstrating what an imaginative and passionate bunch they are. Fuzzy Green, a Cucumber IPA or Milkshake IPA (Extra Vanilla Double) or the Ourison, a lengthy cask conditioned Saison. Everything is produced locally, on-site, in small batches, and with the freshest, high quality ingredients. The beertenders are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Parking available in their lot. I picked up several 4-packs to enjoy at home.
