Closed due to damage suffered in Hurricane Katrina.
Visited here in mid march, the first time the food, atmosphere were great, however the service is what really made it shine. Absolutely the best waitress we had on our whole trip. The seafood was super tasty with ample portions and priced right as well. Kind of a corner dive bar kind of feel, really friendly and fun. Liked it so much we had to go back a second time, and were not disappointed. Well worth a visit.

Must Be 21+ To Enter Internationally Inspired, New Orleans Style
We ordered the Seared Gulf Shrimp PoBoy, Dark & Stormyâ Pork Belly PoBoy, and Whiskey Grilled Cheese. The kids loved the grilled cheese. The aioli and special sauce engulfed the PoBoys like a giant tub of killer mayonnaise.

Waited 45 minutes outside and then ordered cheeseburgers which took 35 minutes get to the table. The burger was smaller than a McDonald's 1/4 pounder, dry and no seasoning. The waitress was more concerned with horseplay with her coworker than to even come to the table, much less address the ridiculous amount of time to prepare a burger. This place is all hype and no substance!! Don't waste your time!!

On the Border of the Quarter since 1939, Buffa's Bar & Restaurant provides a true New Orleans neighborhood bar experience! Live music 6 days a week! Open 24/7.
We had visited this place based on the reviews. When we arrived the bartender was the one who ended up serving us, he wasn't very happy about it. He just seemed upset. I went to use the restroom and saw the huge lounge area in the back of the restaurant. If he didn't want us to sit up there around the front door, he could've always just told us to head to the back of the house. My s/o got a reuben and I got the alligator gumbo. Her sandwich was delicious and tender. My gumbo was the worst in all of New Orleans.Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Depending on when you were there, the dining area may not have been open. It opens at 5PM every day except Sunday, when it opens at 10:30.We hope you give us a second chance. We promise to do better!

The Pirates Ally Café is just off of Jackson Square, literally on Pirates Alley. The décor is a lot of fun. Loved the pirate theme! The bartender was very nice. We did not eat there we just stopped in for drinks and they offered a lot of choices. Inaddition to the inside bar, they have a great patio area. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Nice little spot for a beer and snacks on the patio. Most of the umbrellas were folded, due to previous day's high winds. Service was good, food was tasty and the offer of an umbrella for shade was there. I would return, with my pups, who loved this place in its previous life as Rare Form Nola.

Service was prompt and the food was wonderful. Leah, who took charge of us, was knowledgeable and friendly, helpful but not hovering. Everything with shrimp in it was terrific, as was the crab cake appetizer. We were there in between the lunch and dinner rushes, which in Nawlins is always a good time to go to any place.
