Lord Amherst provides old world charm and a cozy, rustic retreat to enjoy a bite to eat and a cold beverage or two with friends.
Tried the Lord Amherst Public House and Wine Lounge for lunch. Very good British/Irish/Canadian pub menu. Excellent selection of imported draft beers. The traditional fish & chips are highly recommended. Service was good and the restaurant has some rustic ambiance. Will try again!

This is a great location and could be a busy local favorite. Problem is they service is lacking...horribly slow, over priced wines and craft beer and be careful what you eat. Twice I have been very ill after eating here. Hope someone that knows how to better manage can fix this place...it could be a little gold mine...instead I am very surprised how they are still in business.

Shooter's is an okay place if you are looking for somewhere to go for something to eat later in the evening. Their caesar salads are okay. This is not a place to order a glass of wine, stick with having a beer, they have a good choice of them. They also have comedy nights and once a week is trivia night which is good to go to for a beer and some fun.

My wife and I with another couple went to have dinner, the chicken parm, perch and ribs get a WOW rating, excellent food, friendly wait staff were always around to assist. We decided to bowl which I haven't done since a kid. Lots of laughs, great night out. It's not only a kids paridise but the adults can have alot of fun as well.
