The Cheeky Pup is an Irish owned and operated pub in the heart of the Algarve. Our aim is to offer friendly customer service and great customer experience!
Watched two 6 Nations rugby games in the outside terrance and had and very welcome burger and chips between the two games. Highlight on the day was definitely the second half display by Scotland against England. Subsequently went back a couple of time for lunch and was not disappointed.
Visited here today with friends. What a hidden gem. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, served by very attentive staff and reasonably priced. The restaurant has had a recent refurbishment which has created a modern and light setting. There is plenty of seating inside and out with shading as required. I wii definately return and recommend.

Located at Quinta Shopping, the Melting Pot Classic Pub fuses the very best characteristics of a classic pub and the glamor of Quinta do Lago. The Melting Pot offers a great selection of gastropub dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For those warm sum
Visiting the Quinta do Lago square, we browsed various bars/restaurants looking for somewhere that all four of us fancied eating and that could do a gluten free meal. We found it in the Melting Pot, which was a bit of a surprise. It doesn't look the kind of place that is readily capable of catering for gluten free diners. However, my wife was sufficiently reassured by the response to her query that we gave it a go and subsequently returned for a second evening later in our holiday. The chap who looked after us was affable and very helpful. He made us very welcome on both our visits. The seating outside is a bit cramped - you sit close to your neighbours at small tables, but this is first and foremost a pub.The food menu is not extensive, but covers most bases. We enjoyed the food very much and found it to be very good value. My wife said her GF (naked) burger and fries/chips was excellent and I can certainly recommend their lamb chops and steak meals. Decent Portuguese wines at sensible prices. The Melting Pot proved that food need not be pricey to be good in this area.
