Excellent food and lovely atmosphere and cold beers after a long road.We had EXCELLENT steaks and pork chops and kebabs made to perfection with great service.And then we stayed over and was warm and comfortable. Thank you to Francois and his staff.

Visited with the family on a one night stay over in Aliwal. Skaap Stertjies and wine were great. Sadly the boxed fish for fish and chips just ruined the evening as well as, what possibly was supermarket pizza bases which were undercooked. It was a forgettable evening. They can do much better.

The service was poor and they did not have a lot of refreshments. I had to settle for water.My daughter and I had the Chicken, Butternut and Feta stack with cheese sauce and veggies. My husband had the Cheese Burger.I felt queasy after the meal and went to lie down. Both my daughter and I were sick from about 5am. I had taken a doggie bag back to our accommodation and offered the balance of my chicken to my husband. He ate this much later on. He started to feel ill a bit later than my daughter and I.It was extremely hot the day we visited and i assume the chicken was just left out and not refrigerated
