Reviews on Pub food in Akumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Akumal means "Place of the Turtle" in the Mayan language, and if you snorkel here, you just might see one swimming alongside you. (Don’t touch it, though. That’s prohibited by law.) You’ll definitely see coral and beautiful fish in the clear, sparkling waters. This tourist-friendly little town is about an hour south of Cancun—but it seems light-years away.

This restaurant was just up the beach from where we were staying. It is located right on the sand, but also has a pool to sit in while you're enjoying your food/drinks. Employees were friendly and efficient and the food was excellent! We particularly enjoyed the shrimp stuffed avocado (a whole avocado cut in half and stuffed with cocktail shrimp, pico de gallo, and sweet cocktail sauce). We also had the fresh fish of the day (mahi mahi), which was delicious, too.
We saw a huge group of young folks here so thought it had to be good. Also some locals. It was good. We had two soups that were really good. Fish tacos that were unadorned. A pork dish that was ok. Margarita was very good. We like to support local places that arenât overly touristy and weâre glad we came here. Reasonable cost. Cash only

Nauti Burro is a fast casual Burrito Bar and Lounge. The restaurant has varied seating and walk up style food service offering smoothies, burritos, tacos, salads, wings, fries, and more. The bar has a great view of the marina and offers comfortable seatin
My family went in here because the birthday woman was craving tacos! This place was great. They have big tables to accommodate large groups like ours. I think between all of us, someone had everything; Tacos, Burritos, Bowls, Fries, pork, beef, chicken, fish. No complaints. We had a round of Margaritas, which were a bit on the sour side for most of us, but still good. When we first arrived there were some games going on, so the place was quite busy. It was also Karaoke night, and one of my cousins went up to sing. It's a fun place. It's all the way at the far end of the walkway, but worth the walk!

We read all of the great reviews and were excited to try it out last night....the waiter Rolex was unfriendly and unhelpful...he couldn't be bothered after taking the order, our drinks went unfilled and thankfully another young man David stepped in....soooo nice and he was helpful...so glad he came by to ask us if we needed anything. As far as the food, the avacado with lobster was great, but two of us had the fish of the day (Grouper) and it was dry and overcooked, the best thing on my plate was the refried beans...lol. Shrimp fajitas my husband had we're good...and our other friend had fish tacos that came out on a sizzling fajita plate so we're also overcooked and dry....we had to ask for extra sauces to be able to eat it....we did not stay for dessert and won't be back...we had read such good things but no Bueno â¹ï¸.
