This was a train vacation through Kansas! Perfectly planned for our anniversary. The food was delicious, everything was absolutely great, the service couldnât be better! We were impressed by the lovely folks in Abilene. We loved riding the Amtrak, too! Hope to return again soon. â¤ï¸impressed by the arrangements!! Two nights on an Amtrak train was a blast. Highly recommend the trip. Delicious food all the way!

Food was good. Service was a little slow and inconsistent. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with various pictures involving President Eisenhower and his wife, Mamie Eisenhower. Another Area of the restaurant has pinball games or other table games in addition to a bar and outdoor area. When we were there for dinner these areas we were not being utilized.

We probably wouldnât give it a really high rating. Isnât this more for the locals? Not too many people were there, The crowd was an interesting mix of folks. But thatâs no problem.
