Aalen (German pronunciation: [ˈʔaːlən] ( listen)) is a former Free Imperial City located in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, about 70 kilometres (43 mi) east of Stuttgart and 48 kilometres (30 mi) north of Ulm. It is the seat of the Ostalbkreis district and is its largest town. It is also the largest town in the Ostwürttemberg region. Since 1956, Aalen has had the status of Große Kreisstadt (major district town). It is noted for its many half-timbered houses constructed from the 16th century through the 18th century.

Each visit to the restaurant is now a great taste experience for us. The combination of ingredients always excites the pallet in some of the most unexpected ways. The fish dish last night was exquisite. The lamb maultaschen and asparagus combined local menus with great flavors. The service is really top class. Always impressive when the service staff great you professionally at the door, remember the table orders and deliver the correct dish to the correct person. The wine list can also be explained and recommendations for the right wine with your meal. Really a great team. Thanks again for a great evening. Am Mittwoch ist Schnitzeltag hier sind alle Schnitzelgerichte reduziert. Essen ist lecker. Reguläre Speisekarte ist etwas teuer. Service war super!! Getränke sind ebenfalls gut. Gemütlicher Aussenbereich.

It is easy to miss this little gem since it is located in the basement and when you pass it on the street it doesnât look like a restaurant. But do not miss it if you are looking for good food and drinks! It has a cool design and interior, relaxed and modern but cosy. This placeâs speciality is grilled food and they have a burger menu with so many delicious variations that you want to try them all... They also serve steak, fish and chicken with optional side dishes. We were a big party of 11 people and almost all of us ordered different burgers and everyone was happy with their choice. I had the âporn burgerâ (just had to try it because of the name!) and it was really good. The greek burger made with lamb meat was also very good, as well as the exotic burger. One in our company hade chicken and it was also grilled and delicious. For drinks, they have a variety of cocktails, long drinks and shots, and a good selection of wine and of course beer. The service was nice and friendly in a relaxed way. I will definitely go back, I would love to try all the different burgers..!

My wife and I opted for the surprise 3-course menu and we were not disappointed. A very friendly and knowledgeable young waiter acted like our personal butler, recommended wine and other beverages, brought each course with excitement and made the whole evening a great affair. Not the cheapest place around, but I am definitely coming back.
