We had lunch and dinner at this place. For lunch we were starving and had an excelent grilled fish.For dinner we started with Cação and finished with Porco Preto. Its greasy as Alentejo food usually is. Staff are a very friendly and warming husband and wife. The food is delicious but be sure to go for a long walk after.

Amazing food. Good wine list to choose from. A very attentive service by the employees. The desert was also remarkably tasty. Nice environment. The experience was so good we returned the next day to try other dishes. And it never disappointed! It might not be the cheapest place around, but it is worth the money spent.

with great variety of tasty items. The pizza is quite good, although we were admiring the various kabobs that were delivered to other tables. Reasonably priced, and service was good. Nice seating outdoors, donât know if the inside atmosphere is as pleasing.

A very friendly typical portuguese restaurant where local dishes are a speciality. Our Portuguese is rubbish but we were welcomed in English and the menu was explained in detail to us. I would recommend the traditional Migas and a bottle of local wine unless you're driving.I would like to go bak there for dinner as I think it would be even better.

Nice reasonably priced taverna located near palace. Food was good but menu is limited. Small street side patio (seats 8). Inside ambience is reminiscent of a wine cellar. Very extensive selection of local wines. We ordered water which did not arrive. Table appetizers were not homemade.

4.30 on Sunday afternoon poses some challenges to finding food in most Mediterranean towns, especially those a little off the beaten track. So it was great to find a place open with a really interesting menu. They have a selection of Burgers, which for 13⬠including 3 different glasses of their own craft you choose 3 different mini-burgers. Four people ordered different combinations and every plate was cleared with gusto. With another cafe next door this is quiet a nice âbuzzyâ place to sit for an hour or so. Plus this is a really lovely town to have a nice walk after eating three decent sized mini burgers!!

We did not book and luckily secured the last table....the restaurant is small but delightful inside. Service was very slow but once your turn came for ordering it was OK. The owner was very knowledgeable about the food being served and the wines; mostly from his own family estate. We were able to try the wines before making a choice.The food was very good and we enjoyed the whole experience!

What a wonderful dining experience! We were with a group and had the tasting menu. The service was outstanding as was the food. Creative presentation and great taste. What more could you ask for? The hotel and dining room are lovely - modern, understated elegance.
