Food is great they give you a bang for your buck! Love it here. Friendly and prompt I never seen so much food for the price they give you
Everyone should go here for the lunch rodizio. You can't beat the price $23 and the service is exceptional. There salad bar is also fantastic. I would of given them 5 stars if our dessert was good but it was terrible (lava cake) in both taste and price 8.50.

Welcome to The Armory. Located directly on Perth Amboy's historic waterfront, The Armory is a hidden jewel that showcases a unique and beautiful view of the Raritan Bay and the New York borough of Staten Island. This completely restored naval ammunition b
This is quite a big place, scenic, right on Raritan Bay. Extensive first floor, well appointed, many tables inside, and spacious tables outside overlooking the bay and boats moored nearby. Second floor big enough to accommodate 2 separate good sized events, ie 100 or more. 3rd floor Admiral s room also quite large, but the only room not in use at the time we were there. Doors and elevator accommodated handicapped person in a wheelchair in our party, no problem. Big bar, drinks on the expensive side, 2 bartenders on duty 1st floor. Ample valet parking. Good food, obviously good seafood, as it s right on the bay. See pictures.

I was born and raised in Perth Amboy, I started going there decades ago. I moved away and went back to celebrate a birthday. The building has not been updated since opening. The fake, green carpet on the sidewalk has to go. Never looked good 30 years ago and now it's unsightly. The bar and restaurant needs new furniture and some updating. We were the first customers at 5 pm. Service was fine but food lacking. The Portuguese potatoes were brown, cold and overcooked. All 3 platters were the same. The kitchen staff should never have brought them out. The fried seafood platters were plentiful and the seafood crisp and hot. The rice was room temperature. Another mistake by the kitchen. The paella was packed with rice and seafood and meats. But tasted very fishy. The calamari was tough and rubbery. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Sad to see a former favorite not serve food up to par. Due to the fact we were the only table - our meals should have been perfect considering the kitchen was not busy. I sadly would not recommend this restaurant.

Itâs not often we get a chance to visit here. I love the atmosphere and most of all the food. The restaurant is small and they squeeze as many tables as possible. The service might be a little slow but be patient itâs worth it. I love the food.

We arrived at arounf 230PM, we seated by a manager who presented very well and was very accommodating. We then met John our waiter. John is an outstanding waiter who is very helpful and informative. Now this is a venue where the hosts is in a tie and sports jacket, all of the floor staff and wearing longsleve shirts and ties, yet around 5pm the dinner croud started to come in with most wearing t-shirts and jeans. Kinda an odd choice for dinner in such a nice venue.
