Hidden away amongst non-descript apartment buildings but the decor, service, quality of food and overall price are outstanding. This has become my go-to place when friends/family are in town and I need to showcase how well local portuguese people eat

The suckling pig is our favorite dish - roasted daily, with all respect for the Bairradina tradition -, but the Paladares da Bairrada is more than a restaurant where you can eat suckling pig: it is a convivial house where you can enjoy several flavors of
Expected better.Unfortunately got cold food; very small portion and combination not really good.Pork, oranges and lots of potatoes Chips..Roasted pig is good but portion for 2 not even enough for 1..I will try again just in case ...Dear Alberto,We would start by thanking you for visiting our restaurant and also to state that we are really sorry that your experience did not go the way you would prefer. This specific pork dish, Leitão à Bairrada, is a traditional Portuguese dish usually served with chips, and orange, which gives an astringent touch to the meal. Every Customer's feedback is of a great importance to us, so we value your opinion a lot.As a team, we always try our best efforts in order to improve our service and fully satisfy our Customers. We hope we can count on your visit again soon. Please accept the best regards from all the staff of Paladares da Bairrada

There is nothing BAD with this restaurant, but I always feel that it is slightly too expensive compared to the area. Food is always the highlight (great Cataplana) with the staff a close second.

The Estoril coast is one of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan areas in Portugal. This restaurant in Parede has a warm and informal environment, serves excellent dishes along with attentive service, and is not at all expensive. Try the Brazilian maminha, three generous grilled steaks of a succulent piece of veal, or any of a diverse choice of fishes, and you'll be rendered.

We chose this place based on the tripadvisor reviews. I'm so sorry I have not read the 2 and 3 star reviews.Immediately as we arrived a waiter started bringing appetizers to our table: olives, butter, a roll of cheese and two types of charcuterie. I was quite impressed by the amount of appetizers offered. In another place nearby they just gave us bread, olive oil and olive pasta. When I got the bill I understood why they are so generous. Because everyhing they bring to the table it will be on the bill. Even the bread and butter. We ordered grilled octopus, a burger and some kind of grilled pork. Plus a bottle of wine and some ice cream as desert. The total bill was 67 euros. It seemed quit big. I payed, got the bill and left. When I arrived home I checked with Google what I payed. Beside the dishes I recognized, I saw that everything from the appetizers was billed. Even the butter and the bread and olives. The roll of cheese was 5 euros. Those two types of charcuterie were 6,5 and 5 euros. The total for the appetizers was 20 euros. So they billed everything and offered nothing from the 'house'. This place is not correctly rated here. The food is bellow average, the grilled pork was too salty and if feel you got scammed when you realise that what you thought was 'on the house' is actually 'on you'.I don't remember this thing happening to me. A waiter bringing food to the table without you asking for it but then make you pay for it.

A typical local Portuguese restaurant, the main focus on the menu being fresh fish. The young man who served us was super helpful and tried extremely hard to speak English. Good fresh produce and nice sized portions, house wine very good.

Overlooking the sea, the Restaurant Choupana Gordinni gave undoubtedly new life to a space that for decades was one of the distinguished places at the Estoril Coast. At this modern and sophisticated space, decorated using clean lines and neutral colors, y
