Visited with friends and we all really enjoyed shellfish starters. Steak was great quality, had better but would definitely eat here again as very good value. Itâs very telling that restaurant is booked up several days in advance even at end of September. House special tonight are pears in Cointreau with vanilla ice cream. Very tasty! Lovely owner that recommended lovely red with our steak and great bandy with the pears dessert. Will be back next month! A must visit if you are in Lagos.

We had booked this 3 months in advance and had high expectations following a friend's visit. In summary, it is just brilliant. The attention to detail is great and the staff are friendly and professional. Front man had exacting details of all the dishes and guided us to the perfect choices. Sorbet with spumante after the starters prepared us for the mains, all cooked to perfection, the best steak I have eaten - ever.Everything about our meal was lovely. With drinks, desserts and irish coffee to finish we paid around £34 each - very good value.

We enjoyed our first meal here so much, we went again on our last night in Lagos. Excellent small tapas servings along with a few main dishes, wide selection of wine, and excellent desserts! The restaurant is located in the boatyard by the marina and the beach so views of all the boats and beautiful sunshine streams in the windows. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Please note: We only can take calls between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. We are an elegant, cozy, and intimate restaurant in the heart of Lagos. We serve Portuguese cuisine with a twist and always use fresh local ingredients. We provide a warm and attentive servi
We went for dinner at the last day of our holiday in Lagos and wish we had discovered this gem of a restaurant earlier. All of our food was delicious - the veal carpaccio could not have been more tender, the melted cheeses were to die for, the sea bass âwith a twistâ was outstanding (as was the Steak) and the desserts were simply heavenly. Add to this the most charming and attentive service and a wonderfully relaxed yet professional atmosphere and you have the perfect experience - we can not recommend this place highly enough and hope to be back some day! Thank you to the entire team for making our visit at Real Portuguese cuisine so fabulous and memorable!!!Dear Foodlover,It is such a pleasure to read these wonderful words about your dinner at our restaurant!Thank you so much for sharing your experience here on TripAdvisor and recommending us.We are really happy to know that you enjoyed your evening with us.Once again, a big thank you and kindest regards from all of us at Real

This is simple fare but delicious and excellent value for money.Chicken pieces can be plain cooked or piri-piri (not too strong) and are accompanied by a very generous helping of marvelous chips and a simple salad. You must try one of these eating places and this is one of he best - also has a busy and bustling room and a quiet room. Now called O Marcelino

Looking forward to having dinner here after reading the reviews. The restaurant has lovely views which is very pleasant. We enjoyed the fresh bread and olives. The fillet steak, with sauce was certainly tasty, but tough. Creamed potatoes, really good, and the tiramisu was great. The big downside was that we were rushed through the meal. The restaurant was busy, but we went early and the courses came as soon as we had finished each one. A good restaurant spoilt really for us by the tough steak and rushed service.

We went here twice during our week's stay. It is worth seeking out but it is difficult to find in the dark! It appears out of nowhere; the entrance door is small but it leads into a large, welcoming dining space. It is popular, especially with the locals, so do book. there is a large menu, food is good and plentiful, service can be slow as it is cooked fresh and at busy times there is a lot of food to prepare. House wines are very acceptable, but also there is a good wine cart. Prices are reasonable.

Probably our favourite dining experience anywhere. This unique Restaurant only opens Monday to Saturday from 12 to 4PM, or when supplies run out. Order your fish or meat as you enter from the fish display cabinet and be prepared to wait fir maybe half an hour. Always busy, busy, busy. Great value always and superior food. Fish highly recommended. Located on the 125 about a 5 minute drive from Lagos, at where at first looks like a garden centre. Make sure to visit the gardens/farm/village.
Ordered the dorado fish, chicken salad & chicken curry. All meals were delicious. Large portions and quality food. It was quiet and non touristy. The language barrier was a bit of an issue since they did not speak fluent English.
