Monte Gordo is in the Algarve, Portugal.
we went to this restaurant on our 2nd night, there was only a couple of other people there , we choose to eat inside, we had cheese and garlic bread to start , mains of beef in sauce, and octopus and shrimps, our grandson had pepperoni pizza, desert was pancakes with ice cream, we all found the meal very nice and the owner friendly and helpful , we haven't been back as we have been trying other places but would go again, the price wasn't bad , as we had beers / wine / milk shake / water, approx 80 euros

Service and standard of food are excellent. Will accomodate small or medium parties. Have fun picking a cake from the display inside. The large conservatory provides most of the seating. When we were there it closed full day on Monday. Estimado Cliente,Agradecemos a sua avaliação e partilha de experiência! Muito nos apraz ver a sua preferência e satisfação e esperamos, sem dúvida, poder contar com uma nova visita muito em breve! Obrigado, CuÃca

O Setimo Passo introduces itself as the place for food and beer lovers. We strive in providing unique tastes and experiences in a relaxed environment
Ok, the Monte Gordo gastronomy scene has been improving in recent years: in addition to Vicius there is now Galo Negro, Wow Sushi, and of course Pezinhos N'Areia a half hour walk along the beach away. But the nicest surprise this year was Setimo Passo. Close to a cluster of nondescript tourist joints this is a real gem. It's the type of place that in terms of sophistication is more commonly found in Lisbon or indeed London (where owner and chef were based before). It's a great mix of original and extremely appealing tapas, and a great range of craft beers and cocktails. The photos speak for themselves - we went a total of 3 times and tried most items on the menu (which changes regularly). Our favorites were the veggie gyozas, the chorizo flame-grilled in aguadente, and the tuna. Happy hour is a real deal: for example a gin & tonic with Sipsmith gin and fever tree tonic, for 4 Eur, excellent. Also tried a number of craft bears/APA/IPAs - overall a very nice range.Setimo Passo is also a nice place to hang out after a day at a beach- there are games and books, and good music, suitable for families.Overall the place is a real treat, though seeing that it's often quite empty while the hordes are queuing at the nearby tourist fast food places, it's originality and sophistication are not matched by the standard MG visitor. We hope the manage to survive and would love to see them again next summerThank you nkerle for the awesome review!! It was a pleasure having you over and we hope to see you again soon!!

351 EDDY TAPAS Av. Infante D. Henrique Nr. 2, Loja F - Monte Gordo Tapas, Refeições de Fusão, Tapas, Bar, Cocktails, Animação
We ordered the seared tuna steak and tenderloin steak with cheese and walnuts. Both dishes were very well presented, well cooked, and tasty. The menu is a welcome change to many of the other restaurants that tend to replicate each other. Thank you very much for your kind assessment and so high ranking to us.See you very soon.351 Eddy Tapas

I ate at Muxama with my wife and a friend yesterday and we were really taken with everything. Very tasty food which was superbly presented too. Great house white and incredible desserts. Super-friendly service and very attentive. The restaurant itself is in a brilliant location, right on the beach. Not expensive either. We will definitely return when back in the area.

Dona Bela is a restaurant-bar on the beach of Monte Gordo, it is a hymn to the detail and to the detail, with a terrace with privileged view on the sea.
We visited this place as a party of 4. It was highly recommended by some local family members and it didnât disappoint. What a experience, we eat cover, Amêijoas, lulas a algarvia, camarão molho gengibre soja, ovos com tomate e para termina arroz de limão com garoupa.Everything was delicious! Evangelina is an amazing chef. For desert try the iBelle caramel cake.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

We passed this place every day during our holiday and it was one of the restaurants that always seemed to be popular with both locals and tourists. We decided on picking from the touristic menu and chose salads for starters, followed by main course of grilled sea bass with potatoes and veg with a dessert of ice cream. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, the service was good and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. it was incredible value, three courses and a glass of good wine all for only â¬12.50. Recommended.

A recommendation from our hotel we walked in without booking although the place was quite busy. Excellent choice of food and wine, great staff and lovely quaint surroundings. Well worth a visit.
