Just feet away from Batalha Monastery, this place is awesome! The owner of the place served us like we were her neighbors. Cod fish is to day for and Pavlova desert is just awesome! In two days we ate at Sopas three times.

This was a total discovery for me, never had ear or read about the place, I was amazed. The village is a great place to visit and an excellent centre for BTT lovers. The restaurant is absolutely great. Great Portuguese food and jaw dropping when you get the bill, we were 9, we took starters and wine and ice tea, and watter, and coffee and we only payed 56â¬!!!!could not be better in any way, service was excellent, food was excellent, wine was excellent and the price......We even checked if they didn't forget anything. So I can only say, go there enjoy a couple of hours visiting the village and have a great meal.

This is an interesting little tapas style restaurant with a medium sized menu. All the dishes were cooked to order and they also have a nice wine selection that is mostly Alentejan. The food was good but not outstanding and the service was about the same. The real downside to this place is they allow smoking inside.

We just "bumped" into this restaurant for lunch travelling by car from Fátima to Batalha. We weren't expecting much but had a pleasant surprise. The service is very cordial with the head waiter (possibly also manager) interacting very positively with the customers. The prices are good for foreigners, possibly on the expensive side for Portuguese salaries. The food is very good Portuguese cuisine. I recommend the grilled octopus with baked potatoes (with their skin) and sautéed Portuguese cabbage, beans and farmer's bread (migas) - very very good. Or the baked stockfish with potatoes and prawn cream. Recommended

Highly recommended, a very cozy place with great burgers (huge portions) made of local meat. Several types of beer available, also. Can't miss if you choose them.

There is clearly a reason why this restaurant is always full. Great food, great service (we were served within 20 minutes of the order despite a full restaurant) and ok prices. Certainly not the cheapest but quality is really good. The bife do lombo particularly.

The restaurant, quite small, has a back room where all the food is set out. You go and fill a plate with starters(from a selection of about 30!), then return for a choice of main courses and vegetables. Finally you go back for cheese (8 different cheeses) and desserts. Wine just flows, and a bottle of port appears at the end. Self-service with a difference! And as a vegetarian, i was still spoiled for choice.

Haven't been there in quite a while, but seems to have changed a lot.It has a great atmosphere with a great selection of Portuguese food.It looks a bit more expensive than the average, but the food is worth it.This time I only had the Salmon, but it's actually a well known restaurant for suckling pig.
Padaria tradicional com diversas opções de pão, croissants, doçaria tradicional. Para além disso, temos diversas opções de pequeno-almoço, almoço e lanche. Os melhores produtos perto de si - todos os dias!
Just had lunch with a couple of friends after we visit the monastery. Amazing products and very good cost/value relation! For sure weâll come back.
