We were here for a memorable wedding reception and returned the following night for dinner - we had a couple of pork knuckles from the menu, which were both huge, exceptionally well-cooked and succulent, along with the tray of mustards, all excellent. The Kasztelan beer on draft was tasty, cold and cheap. Service friendly and very efficient, and the atmosphere was cosy and charming, with lots of bare wood and sheepskin rugs to sit on. Would love to go back on an emptier stomach some day soon.

Original Szczyrkowska kitchen under the eye of the finalist Top Chef Marcin Czubak. These are some of the few places where you can eat real food from the region. Only with us, the of oscypek from the hut in Koniakow. We focus on regional products and auth
NaprawdÄ niezÅy bar na stoku. Dania gotowe z lady nie sÄ super wykwintne, ale jest wybór i to siÄ liczy. Dużo miejsca, nie Åmierdzi fryturÄ i Åadny widok na stok. Spokojnie można zrobiÄ przerwÄ i miÅo spÄdziÄ czas z rodzinÄ /znajomymi.Spokojnie polecam!

We had zurek and kwasnica for starters, salmon for mains along with selected teas. The soup was nothing special really, basically my zurek tasted like a simple cream soup. The salmon was full of bones and a bit tasteless. Nice spinach on the side, but with greasy potato slices. Can't say I'm excited about this place, even with the wooden mountain ambiance.

Brilliant home style of food. Good selection of courses. Good prices, quick and friendly service. We spent 4 days in Szczyrk and after the first visit in Kaprys not even looked other places

Looking at the interior the feeling was to be at home. But it last just few minutes. The waiter proposed us a table for 8 people but we were 11!!! After some discussion we added a table (by ourself). Traditional food, potatoes ok but golonka was dry. No wine list and beers just few types. No reservations

Well focused menu of burgers with nice atmosphere and at a great price. Would visit again and recommend to others for a dinner or lunch.

The menu features 4 kinds of cuisines, Spanish, Italian, Greek and Polish góralska food. Identity crisis in the making? We had albondigas soup and kwaÅnica for starters, steamed salmon and tortilla for mains. The soups were ok, although the albondigas tasted more like onion soup (which also happens to be on the menu, surprise?). The salmon was alright, but the potatoes dry and a bit greasy for my taste. The tortilla was kind of strangely made with pekinska cabbage. All in all a forgettable experience, compounded by the fact that we both had a case of the runs afterward (sorry, we can both handle different kinds of food and cuisines, do not have delicate stomachs, so I blame old oil and dirty pans). Not recommended as far as I am concerned.

We got here after skiing, ordered their recommended fish dish (the one fried in beer bread) and potato pancakes and it was delicious. I strongly recommend their tea with cranberries! Very good price/quality ratio. You simply have to visit this place when in Szczyrk!

Truly magical place! Not only for your tummy but also for the artistic mind. Place is finished with unique photographs from the past, memorising historical moments in the world. Pierogi are always made to order, never frozen and absolutely delicious. Portions are huge, but dont worry, if cant finish, they will pack them for you - how great is it?

Amazing place, turned up with nearly 20 friends and they were accommodating despite lack of space. Food was ridiculously good, I had the trout which was amazing. Friends had the risotto, which as a mushroom risotto was loved by people who didn't like mushrooms and friends who had the ribs said they were lovely and very meaty.Fully recommend, an excellent place for an evening meal.
