As others have commented, the ambiance is fine if you like "dirty." Pizza was average at best but walking in the door to pick it up, you are confronted with miscellaneous supplies stacked here and there in the public area. Makes you think that somehow you walked in the back door of the place.

Ok, yeah, it's Little Caesars. But the counter service is always nice and prompt, the location is always clean, and the pizzas and crazy bread is a family favorite - and I like the price.

I went to Sofie's during their soft opening. I was VERY impressed with their selection of bourbon (my preference), but also their other whiskeys and wines. The owner Tim and his staff were all knowledgable about drinks, and gave suggestions that were definitely worthwhile.I went to Sofie's again the next week with a special guest. The sandwich and the pizza that we had were hot, fresh, delicious, and large. Well worth the price. Our drinks were great again also.Sofie's has quickly become one of my favorite places to go. Have already recommended the place to many, and will continue to do so.

This little place has the best "cook at home" pizza. There are several varieties, but the best part is how friendly the workers are. We don't order out very often, but when we do, at Papa Murphy's, the manager always remembers my name and exactly what my usual order is. The pizza's are very tasty,easy to prepare and yields enough food for the whole family (depending on the sizeof your family and the size of the pizza ordered.) They "build" your pizza right in front of you andhaveall the little extras that go with a pizza meal,such as cheese bread, giant chocolate chip cookie pizza, etc.

If you are a large party, this is not the place for you. They were so rude with regard to accommodating us that we got the hint that we were not welcome. The restaurant had 1 active table, they made it so difficult for us that we wanted to sit a 2 tables since the only larger table was taken. He actually wanted us to wait 30 min for the larger table to finish while the rest of the establishment was empty. Now mind you they were not polite about this at all. Finally they relented and then gave another problem when we asked for 2 checks. The blond woman was so disgusted with us even asking for this. Then claimed to say she could not guarantee the food would come out at same time. Mind you, there was only 1 table. Finally we just left and took our 200$ food order down the street where we were welcomed. Shame on you, if you are the owner and are seeing this. Train that woman and the bartender that were on 5/1/16 because you lost a lot of business tonight and in the future!

This is a small pizza place with a small parking lot but so worth the trip to Woodstock for the delicious pizza served here! The prices are incredibly reasonable, the place is always busy with people coming in to pick up orders and the pizzas are always generously topped and always delicious--for all the years we've been driving up from Crystal Lake, it's been worth it! There are pastas (favorite is the lasagna) available and daily specials. Staff is friendly as well! Red and white checked plastic tablecloths and map of Italy takeaway boxes!
