I'm always somewhat amazed to read the negative reviews of restaurants on Trip Advisor. Usually, the person writing will say, "the ambiance was terrible, there was a bug in the window (scaring my little girl), the manager didn't smile, and I really hated the idea that I had to stand in line." My own personal feeling about such reviews is that people LOVE to complain. As for me, I'm much more easy-going and open-minded--which doesn't mean I accept mediocrity! I certainly don't. Rather than complain needlessly about stupidity, when I find a little gem here and there, I have absolutely no qualms about supporting and/or endorsing it. One of these is the Salem, New Hampshire Domino's Pizza outlet. I know what you're thinking, "Domino's? Come on! Can't really expect a gourmet meal there." Well, I agree; if you're looking for gourmet, expect to pay through the teeth, and you probably can't show up wearing your pajama bottoms or "yoga pants" that show a little too much, like I've seen on more than a few customers. The food, however, is great. They ran a special on a two-topping large pizza all the way through August--it's was a take-out, true, but well worth it. I very happily took advantage of the deal and was also surprised to see that the manager, a young man of approximately 25, was personable, professional, and accommodating. The pizza was made quickly, I walked out of there smiling, and my wallet wasn't screaming bloody murder. Really, what else does one want from a pizza joint? And what a surprise--they spoke English! Highly recommended!
Good little pizza place just east of the N Broadway/S Broadway intersection. Good value, good portions and even Syrian dough available as an option for a lighter pizza.

Some of my he best pizza around the owners are always nice and they try hard to please and fix it if it's not right.I love that they offer free try's and garlic knots, but the last time we got cinnamon knots instead and they were so burned on the bottom that we could not even eat them.I was very surprised that they still delivered them instead of remaking them.I will continue to order from here as my family enjoys the food.
Have been ordering from here for about five years. They are convenient for me and staff are very friendly. Have tried different items on the menu. They have excellent steak tip salads. They use a very good seasoning on the steak and it comes with delicious Syrian bread. The service is fast and efficient and they deliver locally.

Granfanallys is in a hard-to-see strip mall on Route 28 in Salem, New Hampshire, so we drove by it a hundred times without realizing it was there. Until our son-in-law was looking for good New York style pizza, and someone told him to try Granfanallys. He talked us into trying it, and it was really good. We also heard they have good burgers, so that's the next thing we want to try. It may end up being our go-to place for takeout. Prices are good, too.

We found a coupon for J. Michael's in the Entertainment book and decided to check it out one Saturday for lunch. The waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. We each ordered a burger. They were delivered exactly as we had ordered them. The burgers were moist and the buns were fresh. I wish they had Heinz ketchup instead of Hunt's, but that's a minor thing! There were trivia cards on the table, which was fun while we were waiting for our food to arrive. There are also at least 12 tvs to watch as well. At the end of our meal, the owner came over to introduce herself and check to make sure that we were pleased with our lunch. We will definitely return.

When we're in the mood for a good pizza, we usually order it from the Windham House Of Pizza. They use quality ingredients - olive oil, good cheese, and good sauce - which makes the pizza better than their competitors. And although the owner (husband) is pretty gruff on the phone, the wife is very sweet. The rest of their menu is just okay, but the pizza is worth it.

Ordered two cheese pizzas for $19 coupon. Girl didn't apply coupon, delivery guy wanted 40% more. Called manager and some how it's my fault for not telling his delivery guy to call. Delivery guy is driving back with two cold pizzas, I'm cooking frozen grocery pizza for my kid, and manager tells me it's my fault. Jerk.

We've been doing takeout from Capri for years now, and they are consistently good. We especially love their Capri Chicken Deluxe Salad. It's loaded with grilled chicken - enough for two people (or two meals), and you can order the salad with iceberg, romaine, or baby spinach. The pizza is really good, too, (gluten free is available) and there are lots of options for toppings. The menu has expanded, so now you can get more than pizza, salads, calzones, and wraps. They offer quesadillas and specialty/seasonal soups, and have expanded their dinner entrees as well. Definitely worth a visit.
