On a Wednesday at 2:00 PM I found myself at the bar ordering a bar pie & beer. I have been coming to this location for at least 50 years, with my friends, first the tennis, then the golf, my wife & couples then my children & now my grand kids. I have no idea of what these folks are thinking but I strongly suggest they reevaluate their business plan while they still have something of value. How do you leave this type of business unattended with nobody from ownership on site? How can you let a bartender pick up a pie from the kitchen that is obviously overdone, burnt and COLD & then serve it to a customer after the customer waited 20 minutes for it in a nearly empty restaurant, 2 other men at drinking, no food.Rather then upsetting the young lady behind the bar I ate, paid my bill, now informing All to be aware, Eddieâs is no longer what it was. How sad!

This is one of my favorites in Garden City. I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Grimaldi's offers a wide range of selections (mostly pizza but other things as well). I was here the other day and ordered a plain pizza and small antipasti. Both were very tasty. If you want there are many extra toppings you can add to the pizza at additional cost. They all sound good. I've tried a few in the past and loved them.

Cugini's has a pri-fixed menu from Sunday to Thursday evenings for $21.95. Includes appetizer, entree & dessert. Good selection for each category. My only suggestion to management would be to include coffee/tea with the pri-fixed. Who has dessert without something to go with it? Some restaurants are even generous enough to offer a salad to share au gratis. Wow, that would be nice of course. House red(Chianti or Montepulciano)is $8, a good healthy pour which is a plus. Food is well prepared and service is outstanding with Paolo(he's the best). Plenty of parking right outside in their lot and if you must feed the kids, order a delicious pie after you finish your wonderful dinner date night with your spouse. Everyone of course will be happy! Happy Eating and I'll see you around the tables even on date night!

Another great dependable pizza place and really good tasting Italian entrees as well. You can get a real good pie here! Long Island has plenty of pizza restaurants with everyone offering their own opinions on which they like which pizzerian and why. All I know is that if the place wasn't good they won't stand the test of time. This place has been here for many many years and they are still busy in demand. I love their veal parmagiana heroes, heck all their parmagiana heroes are awesome(meatballs are good too). Their pasta entrees are huge so you do get your money's worth. Delievery is fast and great easy pickup right off Hillside Ave. Come hungry and you won't be disappointed. Love coming here on a Friday night for it's my pizza night! Happy Eating and I'll see ya on line waiting for my pie! It's that good:)

Gino's has not changed in its quality of food or service. That's why so many of its diners are repeat customers. Coming here feels like visiting family. The service is excellent without being overbearing and its food is tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely worth repeat visits.

There is a backroom restaurant behind almost every pizza joint on Long Island, why put up with one that shouldnât be in business? Cramped dining room, nonexistent decor. Service is absolutely terrible. Our waiter, Carlo, was rude, inattentive and quite honestly, had no idea what he was doing. If someone at the table asked for a drink, Carlo couldnât be bothered asking if anyone else wanted one. Plates were passed down the table so Carlo wouldnât have to exert himself.Veal pizzaiola portions were minuscule, calamari and fried zucchini came directly from a frozen truck delivery Take my advice, just drive a block or two in either direction, youâll find something much better

There's nothing special about this place....just an average "red-sauce" Italian restaurant. The food is good but not memorable, the decor is typical "Mediterranean"....th service was very attentive...the manager/owner was extremely ;personable...the prices were fair and reasonable, the wine list extensive.

Many of my friends recommend the place. I have visited Angelina's twice and always left satisfied. First the service is excellent - fast, friendly and attentive. Second the food, while all dishes we ordered were good I liked the personal pizza, specifically the Quattro Stagioni with it's season themed ingredients. I don't know why they call it a personal pizza being there is enough for 2 people. All in all I guess I'll be a regular.

While this is a pizzeria, the food is a cut above "pizzeria" in my book. Our party enjoyed: 1. chicken platter (grilled) which had a beautiful side salad as an option; both side salad and the platter were colorful, 2. oreganate penne, 3. baked lasagna, 4. grilled chicken hero and 5. grilled chicken parm hero as well as 6. side of broccoli (must love garlic or push it to the side). People we were with said this is one of their go-to places and the newcomers can see why. As another reviewer noted, the portions are large. Recommend.
